Graduation done. Everything went ok. Fingers crossed we should have a
new boiler in the Skye House. Going for a quick recce this weekend to see how it is, however can't stay at house as we have people in!

Cleared M&S card from the holiday purchase and saving money for holiday spends. Once into November full on debt busting as all the 0% deals end and I don't want to try and get another deal.

Can't wait to go SH. Just need some spends. Forgot to mention that DS2 had somebody drive into the back of him, everyone ok. He came home from work in a very snazzy car.

DS2s car has been written off, so had to go car shopping. I tried to convert him to the dark side and get a volvo V40 but he wasn't for changing and is hopefully getting a golf. He's going to put this on finance, not too sure how I feel about this. Is it the start of a slippery slope? Still waiting to hear if its gone through.

Drove up to the Skye house and the boiler is safely installed and more to the point is behaving and working. I had the horrible task of telling my housekeeper they were no longer needed as I'd found somebody who would solely be looking after mine. The previous housekeeper was cleaning 3 holiday homes in a 6 hour window..... Anyway I've got the keys back and the bedding some of it wasn't even mine. I've had to go out and buy lots of new bedding but it should all be ok. The hotel we stayed in was disappointing and expensive for what we got.

Spent 2 hours in casualty on Sunday as I'd got bitten by a tick and the bite came up in a bulls eye. I wasn't taking any chances and now on strong antibiotics. The bite is still very red but not getting any bigger.

Been away for a night to an all expenses paid dealer day. We went last year and it was ok. Didn't really enjoy it, so might give it a miss next year. However did manage to speak to the MD of the company and go over some issues we are having. Fingers crossed he manages to do something about it.
Enough waffle best get lunch made and go to work.

Had a wonderful surprise yesterday our youngest daughter came back from New Zealand. We haven't seen her for 14 months. She'd organised everything and hadn't told us she was coming home. Sadly she's only here for 2 weeks so got to make the most of it!

Lovely that you got to see DD. What a fab surprise. My DS has just come back from Oz so can relate.
He is going back there at Xmas for 4 weeks and probably again after graduation. Hope you heal from the tick bite quickly.

Well that's DD2 back in NewZealand. She talks about coming home next year then in the next breath she's talking about residency, so who knows.

We did loads of stuff and ate out most of the time, so the finances have taken a severe beating (not to mention the new car I bought). So I think I'll be around a lot longer than anticipated. There are formulations of a plan to pay everything off. One of them does include winning the jackpot on the euro millions!

Not long until we go to Turkey. Just a few toiletries to get and we should be sorted.

DS2 has had his 21st and also picked up his new car and his hire car has gone back.

Went back to dog agility last night with Izzy, she was really good. Not too sure how well Isla will do next week as she hasn't been going as long and had all of the summer off.

Badminton is also back on so that's Monday and Tuesday nights taken care of.
