Today sees me leave my fourth decade and enter the fifth!! Scary and how on earth did that happen?!
OH has done a brilliant job. Friday we took the dogs to the beach and had lunch out. Big bunch of flowers and chocolates. Whisked away to a hotel and spa. Had a lovely massage and OH had one as well, followed by a swim. A nice meal later on.The next day he’d secretly packed some clothes for me to wear, booked in at a different hotel and then the off spring turned up along with a good friend of there’s to fill the gap DS2 left because he’s in New Zealand. A meal out and I’m ready for a rest!
later on today we’ll go to the Sunday market that’s on the quayside and head for home.I did get a message from my sister yesterday, they’d been away visiting their daughter and grandson, came home and discovered they’d been burgled and had their car pinched.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

It was -10 this morning when I arrived at work it was a balmy -8. OH stayed at home to wait for the engineer to sort out the heating upstairs. I can confirm it’s nice and toasty as I lie in bed writing this.I’m slightly annoyed at DD1, she’s been here as she was supposed to be working tomorrow but has just found out it’s been cancelled. The milking parlour is taking a couple of hours to defrost. Anyway I came home and she’s helped herself to some Christmas cards and 1 was one I’d purchased with a specific person in mind. The first I knew of it was when she said oh that card with the funny caption was just what I wanted! I know in the grand scheme of things it’s not the end of the world but I’m going to have to sort another one and just grrrrr!
I have a naked tree in the living room and to be honest I’m not bothered if it stays like that!
bah humbug

It's thoughtless stuff like that, that older teens and young adults are brilliant at isn't it?! They don't mean too, but their worlds are so small, they only really look out for themselves. I have to remind myself sometimes that I was the same, and not to take it personally when my older two are being a bit selfish! Life admin will come and bite them on the backside soon enough.......Debt free Feb 2021 🎉5

I am also bah humbug. My youngest asked me once if I hated fun. Really made me think about how I am perceived by others!Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2
