Dropped the hedgehog off at the rescue centre, she’s a she they confirmed it and it seems she hasn’t got any eyes ( in my defence she did curl up) a sore foot, probably from the ice and worms so she’s gone to the best place. They have an area she can live in as she won’t be able to be released.

Dropped off the last of the cards and presents. Took the mutts for a walk. They’re drying off in the kitchen. Got the turkey ready for the oven and that’s me done.

Well that’s Christmas done and all the chaps have left. Slowly getting the house back, desperate to take the decorations down. Hoovered the pick up out ready to load and head north. Contemplating going tomorrow but will check the traffic cameras before leaving.

Just looking at tickets to go and see the Shawshank Redemption at the theatre. Fancied seeing the Tina Turner musical but it’s on in London.

Christmas decs are down. Had to move the tree to get to a socket and it fell over and smashed a favourite vase, so it’s time was over!

Decided to leave the trailer and just take the pick up north, it’s loaded and ready to go but the weather forecast isn’t good.

It also looks like DD1 and her bf are on the cusp of splitting up, so we’re on standby to move her out. Will know more tomorrow. At the moment she’s just about holding it together.

Sorry about the vase and DD1. Hope you have a lovely time up north regardless.

Well DD1 and bf are having another go. We left yesterday 3.30pm and made it up here 12.30. OH did an incredible job driving in difficult conditions with a fully loaded trailer. It was squeaky bum time driving over Invergarry. Crawling down the hill, in 4 wheel drive in the slippy snow wasn’t my idea of fun!  Thankfully Cluanie wasn’t a white out but slippy and lots of deer were down.
I predict a quiet day, with a dog walk between the showers.
