    Morning ladies!

Finally caught up in all the news, so congrats, hugs, spoons and encouragement where needed.

I did naff all yesterday. I had an actual day off! Pottered about, then met a friend for coffee and cake and caught up on all her news. Left there to meet another friend for lunch and made a date for pizza next Thursday, was invited to a Mum's Night Out in March, which is exciting, got the boys to bed at a reasonable time and had a couple of glasses of a most delicious wine that another friend has given me and watched carp on the telly.

Consequently, today is packed full of things I should've done yesterday...

    Ho-hum.

Morning all. Very cold and frosty outside but a) it's not raining and b) it's daylight! The fact that I am uo when no one is going to work or school first thing is another matter...

DW has been unloaded and wm is running. Porridge about to be scoffed, then I will probably have peaked for the day. Bathroom fitting is nearly through its first week. Maybe next week there will actually be a point to trying to keep upstairs and the hall resembling clean. Still, I will soon have an actual bathroom to keep clean - then watch me moan!

Off to hospital later this morning, then we'll see what else the day brings.

Dizzy - glad you had a lovely day. You deserved it.

    Have good days all.
  • Bright sunny morning here, but it is COLD. Bed has been made and I opened the bathroom and bedroom windows to air the room but only for a few minutes as it was cold and windy, in the time it took me to put a load in WM, which is downstairs and out to a different building, and swish 2 loos everything and anything had been blown away or frozen to death (we have windows on both sides of the room). Now having coffee and toast before attacking this morning. Need to go through the tray of paperwork in the kitchen as lots of stuff has been dropped in it and I don't want it too pile up, domestic admin is my job and I do have a tendancy to leave everything until the last minute and miss things.

Hugs to those who want and need.
    xx

  • Morning all,

Thank you for the well wishes for DD, she slept 13 hours solid and is now laid in my bed watching TV.

DW has been unloaded and I'm enjoying a cuppa. No fixed plans for today, it's bright and cold so a dog walk would be lovely but I'll have to wait for DH to get home from work as no way is DD up to traipsing around a walk.

Need to do some work admin for DH, also write to tax credits (I hate ringing them).

Glad to hear about your OH's mum piggers x
Your day off sounds lovely Dizzy x

    Have lovely days all xx

    Morrning

Thank you dancemum and lynnejk xx Christina brought her sister, Caron, who I haven't seen for 20+ years! We had a lovely time reminiscing and laughing - and because I'd cleared the clean laundry from the sofa earlier in the week there was somewhere for everyone to sit :T And they didn't need the bathroom, but DS had a lovely surprise when he came home. :D. Thank you flyladies :T xx

I'm visiting C & C's older sister this afternoon. Like me she didn't move away so we see each other more often.

DS has just set off for work so it's time for Round 1 (Dailies ;)) =
    1- get washed & dressed
    2- WUDUPA
    3- feed birds
4- put out rubbish & recycling
    5- sort washing

Bed is already made. Then I'll pop to town to pick up my prescription and have a mosey round Mr W!!lko's. DS says we'll soon have a bathroom like posh people's bathrooms - it may be sooner than he thinks :D.

Hugs, good luck vibes, get well vibes, spoons, sticks and fluffy mules heading out.

    See you later.

Morning flyladies. Glad you had a lovely evening Roundtuit.

This morning I have done the dailies, hoovered downstairs and done some of the ironing.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • I have already emptied my lunchbox.

Seven baby carrots, five cheery tomatoes, a tablespoon of hummus and a matchbox sized piece of chicken and some watercress.

I'm being spoiled today. (attempts to remove bits of vegetable from the big hole in gum/jaw that is still not fully healed from dental surgery last month)
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
