  • Just done HHI as lesson changed to this afternoon, I put on a 30 minute playlist from another site and put a few bits away off the landing and started ironing, by the time the music stopped I had emptied the backlog basket, put it all away and dealt with the stuff out of the TD. It only took half an hour why had I waited so long, some of the stuff was skiing kit and we skied at Christmas. Lazy or what! So now going to have coffee and pair socks. WM back on again.

  • 35 pairs of socks done, 3 odd ones, not bad. But how many socks do we have as there are only 2 of us at home all the time now!

Off into town to pick up a few bits and to have my boobs squshed.

Beautiful sunny day here today; really feels spring like. I bought 2 new feeders for the birds yesterday and have put them near to the window I sit by when working so can keep an eye on who comes to visit.

So today I want to try to get through as much as I can of this monster list. Been a right slob but that's OK - we're all allowed days where we don't achieve much! I've kept the WM busy so looks better without dirty washing around.

Anyhow, here's my list to keep me on the right tracks, I'll update it during the day.

Monday Rooms of Doom and Bathrooms!
Clear and wipe one surface in the RofD (or bathroom)
    Empty the bins
Clear out the bathroom cupboard/make up bag, bin anything yucky and old
    Hoover and wash the floors

Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
Wipe the table and work surfaces
    Sweep/Hoover/mop the floor
Clean anything higher than eye level
    Meal plan
Clean the sink/DW/WM drawers and filters

Wednesday - Living Room, hall and stairs
Hoover/wipe sofas, go on a treasure hunt under the cushions
    Clean a window or two
Declutter anything that doesn't belong in this room
Give all the remote controls and phones a wipe
    Dust the mantle and tv

Thursday - Master bedroom and Landing
    Clear bedroom floor

  • Whoop. I too have popped the music on this morning and got on with it..
Am on he grumpy side as I have a scratchy throat n sore ear and with 1 day till my weekend away its not what I'd hoped for..
Still, dosed up, oil in ear and decluttered some granary toast smothered in marmite and a hot honey n lemon.. All WILL be well!! ;)
Emptied all bins, including food. Cleaned containers.
    Have blitzed the upstairs,
Gutted bathroom, scrubbed everything, mirror, shower glass & window glistening,
    Toilet especially scrubbed..
Threw away clutter and recycled empty container
Floor vacuumed and washed by hand.
    Vacuumed all of upstairs
Added more bits to travel bag & to DS2 (he's off to his aunts)
    Added bits to wash basket
    Vacuumed all of downstairs
Scrubbed kitchen counters and bleached sink, draining board and dish rack n bowl.
Currently having a little bop to music on the radio.. :rotfl:

Hoping everyone is doing ok & dealing with life the best way possible..
    Positive vibes for all :A

Counselling went well, or rather, better than I was anticipating. I'm getting impatient to start the treatment side of things now, rather than listing out all the disasters and catastrophes that my car crash of a life has been subject to. I really must have been an evil witch in a former life.
I sometimes feel that way myself; but we can be good witches in this life, right?:o I'm pleased the counselling is going better than you'd thought. x

LW - both doglets are ok. They seem to take it in turns sometimes to be a bit under the weather, but nothing serious.
Ah, a doggy conspiracy! You know, of course, I'll always do distance healing for them, whenever needed. Anything to help our furry friends. :o

WM is on with Mr LW's clothes in it; and he's been detailed to throw a duster round the lounge so that it doesn't look too disgraceful when Snoozy Suzie arrives. I must put the "doghouse" cushions (that's the name of the design on them) on the floor in a bit, as Suzie likes to curl up on them for her afternoon nap. :D

I'm krackered again; this morning was taken up with washing my hair (yes, it does take me all morning, even with Mr LW's assistance due to hinky shoulders and lack of spoons). I'm seriously debating whether to colour it again or just leave it; I currently have a rather large silver badger-stripe, but can't face the faff of colouring at present.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Thank you Mumof2 - that's just stopped me from beating myself up over a 'wasted' morning. Round 1 completed I didn't know where to start next - so I stopped. I've finished another book and put it in the CS bag, and watched some Winter Olympics ... but that's OK.

I'm going to bring in the bin, then set the timer for 15 minutes and do something, anything, and see where we go from there.
