Hi to all

Sitting down for a calming rest before my counselling session. We are up to 'D' Day and today may get messy. I'm nervous and consequently didn't sleep well and have just stuffed most of a 200g of chocolate. Breathe....

On the plus side, my nervous energy has meant all the ironing has been done and I've oiled lots of timbers and beams in the middle room. House stinks of linseed oil now and the stupid dogs keep trying to lick the wood....yummy...

Need to pack DH an overnight bag as he is away on business until Friday from lunchtime today. Off to find said bag....hmmm, could still be in the caravan.

Bathroom vacuumed.. ceiling, walls, floor, the lot. Songes binned and new ones put out. 8 empty toothpastes removed from the drawer and soaps put out.. I filled 2 binbags wth rubbish and a large basket of washing.. it is much nicer.. I need to bleach it all and mop but it is greatly improved.

Loo had bin emptied.

DW redone and table cleared.. I also fed Twinkle and myself.. hopefully she will go for a nap so I can attack another room.. or maybe mop!

RAC... I called... I rang.. I got a refund... boom!!

DD2 writing CV's so.. I can go have a fling! Well, when we have finished singing 'KEN LEEEEEEEE!!!!!'

House insurance documents have gone walkabout.. so I need those.. renewal is due in May so I have an opportunity to find a cheaper option.. we shall see what their quote comes back as.

Twinkle just did the most horrific nappy.. I had RAC on livechat and then the mortgage company rang.. multitasking champion right here..

Well done on the weightloss ATB.

I think the WM is totally kaput so I've called for an engineer who can't get here until Thursday. It totally flooded the whole area yesterday which means I've now got to wash the carpet which I could do without. Three loads washed and dried at the laundrette instead are now all airing on the sundeck.

Must do something from Dusty's most excellent listies.

Just back from my "interesting" day so far. About 80 miles done, another 20 to do later in the round trip to pick up DD. I managed to sneak into work for about 1 hour instead of the promised 4, so now tomorrow will be a full day there, rather than just the morning. Which means that the food shop will be done.....oh, I don't know when.

Wish I could help some of you lovely ladies who are struggling in various things. ((Hugs)) are the best I can do. X

I have to confess that I haven't even looked at the list yet......now I have. I have eaten a hot cross bun - can that count as a tick against the eating a frog??:D. I've just had my first cup of coffe for the day. Maybe I ought to have a second one to give me the required kick up the derrière...

Today started at 5.30 am with DD crying as she has a sore throat. So do I, we both have a lurgy it would seem. She went to DH whilst I went to work for 4 hours then did an epic 3 hour round trip to collect DS from his grandmas. I’m now eating a v late lunch of leftover cauli cheese. WM is on, DW will be going on shortly.

Buying more than selling on eBay at the mo, DD (5) is now in 7-8 clothes :eek:

Didn't get on here yesterday as I was krackered after the trip into town - morphine collected, other errands run, and I got a shoulder strap for my handbag; there's been a spate of bag-snatching around here lately, and I felt that I was literally a "sitting target" in a wheelchair; but if there's a strap I can put across me, the bag is firmly attached and cannot be wrested from my grasp.

Taking it reasonably quiet today in order to at least look fit and well for Suzie's arrival tomorrow.

Jazee great news re your DH's scan; how is LittleyDog today?

Death by a thousand cuts today. Ten per sheet of cardstock, 100 sheets printed. I might have killed the paper cutter.

Staff room fouled up again three times. And back to sparkliness. Fridge clean. I'm exhausted, Himself is tired from an interview and is having a rest. Whilst my stomach is flipping with hunger.

But he does appear to have cleaned the kitchen a bit. Which is promising.

Shattered. DW emptied, WM on, gym, paid stuff no 1, supermarket, job no. 2, shopping away, our bed stripped, DS2 collected, tea made, ironing done, clean washing away, bed made up again. I didnt finish what I was doing on job no. 2 but I am soooo tired.

Ooooh, at this time of year I think anything that makes you feel better can be counted as frog-eating.

I've washed the bit of carpet by the washing machine and had more than half a tank left over so I washed the bit that gets the heaviest wear which was grey with vileness near the front door. That's two frogs munched in a day.

I've also flung quite a bit in my room of doom, nearly cleared a surface but we haven't got any more picture hooks so I can't hang the five pictures lying on it *curses* and cleared some shelfspace which means I've been able to get stuff up off the floor and on to them. I also got bogged down doing paperwork but at least I've cleared some of that, as well. Nowhere near as much as I'd like to have done but at least I haven't been a complete slug today.
