Right, I am heading outside to wash out the green recycling bin it has been emptied this morning but loads of things seem stuck to the bottom so I’m going in ....

We have Camhs later and it is 30 mins drive so I need perking up.

off to fling some stuff in the loft and empty an entire teeny tiny bedroom to move DS3 into... this looks like it will be an interesting exercise in creating even more mess than I have already accomplished!

Ironing is done
Diabetic nurse appointemt decluttered, she was not exactly forcoming on the amount of weight I need to loose, so I am sticking to 2 stone / 28lbs for now, and will look at again when they next want to see me in May time for another blood test.
Checked bank aco!!!! and money shuffle / DD money
Made a list of all grand kids birthday's as OH keeps getting it wrong!!

Hello, your posivibes worked, DH's tests/scan today were ok. That's one worry lifted.

This morning I cleaned the top of the kitchen cupboards.

Had a major blitz on my dinning room, loads shredded, recycled bin now half full, even OH came in from work and told me it looked so much better.
I warned him the cupboard under the stairs was next, !!

Ah, the Staff Room Rota system. Such joy.

As I obviously have nothing better to do with my time, I spent an hour in there today, making it look almost Pinterest worthy.

DW emptied.
DW reloaded.
Crates that cutlery, crockery, mugs and glasses are abandoned in the general direction of, emptied, scrubbed and bleached inside and out.
Pot Noodle pots tipped on their sides with forks still embedded in the remains all chucked.
Moldering empty spread tubs abandoned on the side all binned.
Mouldering plastic takeaway tubs all chucked.
Microwave plates put in DW.
Microwaves cleaned out of lifeforms.
Slime moulds cleared off outside of microwaves.
[strike]Fire hazards[/strike] Toasters emptied of six weeks of crumbs and carbonised currants.
Tea bag jar emptied of inch thick layer of tea dust and put in DW
Teaspoons recovered from underneath microwaves and toasters.
Countertops bleached for the first time in their lives, going by the miraculous colour change from tea coloured to grey fake marble coloured.
Crud removed from edge of sink.
Sink scrubbed.
Taps shining.
Cupboard and drawer tops cleaned of tea spills.
Coffee pots emptied of penicillin and put in DW.
Plates, dishes, bowls all stacked in respective sets, size and colours on the shelves.
Mugs put in shelves nearest tea, coffee and the hot water boiler.
Head impressed (and slightly unnerved) by how clean the area is.
Jugs all placed in suitably artistic manner on top shelves.
Vases placed in equally artistic manner on other shelves.
Tea towels folded and put in suitable location.
Fake Gerberas retrieved from back of fridge and arranged in an artistic fashion in a disused teapot. Just to rub it in a bit.


Email sent to department actually on the rota to do it patiently explaining how to load and operate a dishwasher (as not all of them might have a DW - would have explained about cleaning microwaves and toasters as well, but their heads might have exploded).

Avalanche of horrified email replies about it not being their responsibility read with amusement and forwarded onto the boss.


If I can be bothered tomorrow (and somebody else deals with the DW like they're supposed to), I might clean one of the fridges, as the shelves are minging. It gets me out of the office for a while.

JoJo I sometimes wonder if the people who leave the staff kitchen in a disgusting state live in hovels or just behave like that at work. We have a lovely cleaner but she shouldn't have to deal with some of the mess that she is left.

Busy day back at the paid stuff x 2. Gym class straight after work so not much flying done. Will have to tidy kitchen a bit, pack lunches and sort my bag for tomorrow.

I confess, not very much flying done after a run in with a less than helpful GP this morning..
Still upset and struggling.. Will bounce back and re-group, I shall not let it get the best of me...
Will try and catch up between now and Friday as I am going away for the weekend with friends for the first time in 2 years:j
