Sleepy waving from my bed.
Counselling went well, or rather, better than I was anticipating. I'm getting impatient to start the treatment side of things now, rather than listing out all the disasters and catastrophes that my car crash of a life has been subject to. I really must have been an evil witch in a former life.
DH away for two nights in a training course for work (yippee), so I'm taking advantage and going to bed early. Bliss.
Good news about MiL Pigpen. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.
Promise to catch up on Fred in the morning.

Nice dinner cooked by Himself - mash, peas, onion, broccoli, kale, corn and gravy. Unfortunately, the inherent calories in it (or rather the lack of them or any fat or protein source) mean that I am absolutely ravenous again. He thinks I didn't notice that he'd bought himself a box of fried chicken earlier - no wonder he isn't as hungry as I am - must thank the Idiot Cat for letting me into the secret by depositing a chunk of chicken bone beside my shoe (and for not being stupid enough to actually try eating it due to the vast amounts of spices the local purveyor of junk adds to try and make it taste of something other than oil).
Himself has wandered off upstairs where it sounds like he's shuffling things around in the studio again. So it's a perfect time to go in search of more foodage.
Dammit. There are more potatoes, more kale, a tin of mixed beans in salted water and some satsumas. The kitchen looks pretty clean, though.
One satsuma cannot quell this level of hunger. Especially as it follows yesterday's small plate of roasted veg (carrot, peppers and sweet potato) and a pinch of rocket. I'm pretty sure that he snacks on crisps and biscuits and things during the day as well (which I don't like), along with milkshakes (which I can't drink).
I think I might fire up the Ocado app. But that always degenerates into my buying tons of stuff that he doesn't 'know what to do with' so frequently gets wasted. And me buying lots of expensive unnecessary items.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Morning all, looks like it's going to be another lovely sunny day here but freezing cold. Car will need defrosting before I can drive. Lesson this morning followed by mamogram then I'll be home most of the afternoon to try and get some flying done. I have made bed, tidied round living room and kitchen is clear so not a bad start. Off to start car so it can defrost whilst I go and shut the bedroom windows and then head into town
Hugs to all who need or want, you're all GREAT!

Morning
Welcome home Valli xx
I arrived home from Helen's at 1pm yesterday and arranged to visit Heather at 1.30 pm on Friday - so I have 48 hours at home in betweenChristina is coming for a catch up and a brew tonight - not seen her for a year or so; she is one of the few people allowed through the door
. Then I'm going to Jackie's on Saturday morning to swap Christmas presents (her mum died on 18th Dec so Christmas was cancelled at her house
) Annual Leave is always a balancing act between visiting old and valued friends and time at home alone to recharge my batteries before returning to work: get the balance right, throw in flying and add Winter Olympics and you have a happy Roundtuit
When DS goes off to work I'll start Round 1 =
1- get washed and dressed
2- WUDUPA
3- feed birds
4- put out rubbish & recycling
5- laundry shuffle
Back later.
