And floor needs doing badly so will try and get that done in a bit.
Hugs to Donna and all those who need.
More coffee and a bit of household admin.0 -
Hope things are Ok with your Mum Donna, and well done on the weight loss Pigpen.
Day off job no. 1 today but I will have to do a few bits on job no. 2 at some stage. Decided to be helpful and do DSs sheets for him. Have found a blue lacy thong which I am fairly sure isn't his. Now I could wash it and put it in DSs drawer OR I could present GF with it next time she walks into the house with a "oh I think this is yours dear".
Have also scrubbed bathroom, loaded DW and tidied a bit. Coffee next I think then will get the hoover out. DSs bed could really do with pulling out to hoover behind but a bit scared what I might find behind there now .....0 -
Recycling out.
LR dusted and vacuum cleaner run round. Popcorn removed from down the sides of the settee. Dead flies removed from the uplighter. Lovely. I think that might just be a small step closer in the H2H challenge.
DH has now decamped to the clean LR . Oh well, now for the dining room, I suppose.0 -

Walking and swimming count as wonderful exercise, Pigpen. It's just that we have to do rather a lot of either of them. 10,000 paces a day, remember? If it didn't count I'd be the size of a house. As it is, I've lost 200g in five days which isn't much but it's a step in the right direction - see what I did there?.
I used to walk 3-4 hours a day on 3 schools runs and never lost an since ounce!! If it don't shift lard it don't count in my house! I lost more when I walked the children to school and jogged home.. then jogged to school and walked them home.. just that 20 minutes jog made a bigger difference.. sadly jogging is not possible now my hip is so floofed.
The sugar in tea reduction and meat avoiding had made a massive difference though.. I am not bloated or gassy or feeling quite so sick all the time any more.:T Go pigpen :T Well done. Note to self: must try harder(not expecting much joy on the scales tomorrow after last night's pizza for tea. I did leave 2 large slices but this was because it wasn't very nice rather than any form of self-denial
)
weetabix do explode it's a known phenomenon this side of the Humber!!!
I'm so innocent :A I couldn't think why a pigpenism was rude and was thinking 'surely I've not upset her with th.....oooh  :rotfl:.I see it now'. Ooops. Sorreeeee.
I went out for dinner on Tuesday and ate 3 days worth of food in one meal... you should not deny yourself an occasional treat or you are destined to fail.. even if it tastes nasty.. I had a 390g galaxy bought for me by my grandbeast.. nom
Weetabix is tricksy stuff!
Silly.. I am pretty hard to offend..
Donna... hugs and healy vibes for your mother.. family first always xxx

You're not kidding. If you don't wash the breakfast pots on the same day - as frequently happens in this hovel
- weetabix literally welds itself to the dish. Especially the sort that DS likes because it [STRIKE]costs more[/STRIKE] contains extra protein.
Round 2 completed. DS came down and promptly fell over the empty space left by the removal of said box!!! 'How? How?' I ask myself ' can he step round a box for six weeks (or however long it is since Christmas) and then fall over it when it's gone?'
Heyho - I know I've just had a coffee, but I'm taking a lunch break now. During which I'm going to finish reading my book so that it can go in the CS bag.
It's still raining here.

First up, very best wishes for Donna and her Mum.
HB thanks for taking over the reins this week. I did think I "ought" to volunteer, but I really don't have the confidence if I'm honest.
I'm another one who had to google "Hoppity Voosh":rotfl:DS came down and promptly fell over the empty space left by the removal of said box!!! 'How? How?' I ask myself ' can he step round a box for six weeks (or however long it is since Christmas) and then fall over it when it's gone?'
Bathroom done over the weekend, I'm pleased to say - by Mr LW. :A I have a good system going - I mention the loo seems a bit niffy, and he goes and gets the cleaning stuff.
I did iron 25 hankies yesterday afernoon, though.
I have rehomed a homeless item - or rather it's gone in a jiffy bag in the post to a home where it can be used, not take up room in a drawer.
Also picked up Mr LW's meds and left my script for morphine, which they'll get in for me.
And purchased a humungous bag of coffee beans; talking to the lady who served me in the coffee place, mentioned I had a doggy coming in on Thursday, she assumed I was getting a dog. No, I explained being a dog-sitter - and she said her sister was going to be in need of a dog-sitter; so that's one more business card for the company dished out.I've had to email my "boss" to ask for more business cards as I'm nearly out!
Slinkiness still not happeningI think the fact that it was medication that put the weight on me may be a factor. That and my joints and everything else being too painful to do anything much by way of "proper" exercise.
Mr LW has just informed me he's got the BM down from the top of the freezer, so I guess I'm making a loaf next.....If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Book is in CS bag.
DS has gone to pigpen-land to see GF in her lunch-break - after a very stressful few minutes when he couldn't find the hoodie he wanted- it was under his nose but didn't jump out and shout 'Boo' as men seem to expect 'lost' items to do (or is that just the men in my life???) - or his car keys. He's taken his spare set and I've phoned my Dad - said car keys were left in Dad's car yesterday. Contrary to the unspoken insinuations flying round I had NOT moved them
So much for a relaxed day at home together ...
Anyhoo: Round 3 =
1- WUDUPA another bowl of pots (which will just leave pans)
2- oh ok, WUDUPA pans
3- find homes for large bag of Christmas presents currently residing in living room
4- laundry shuffle
5- Sweetie's seed and water
And breathe ...

DR dusted. Shower room cleaned. Neither floors done. Think I might take myself upstairs for a bit of flingage now that the electrician has been and gone.
Somehow I missed your earlier post, YL.....now that's a dilemma I don't envy you!0 -

Another trip to the dentist, that is now it for 3 months, I am sat here feeling sorry for myself as my mouth is still coming 'round' from the jabs the dentist did.
