    Morning everyone

Thank you HB for the list, and Natty for last week's. Happy holidays Valli xx

Sat with Mum all day yesterday (8am til 6pm) whilst Dad and DS were karting, so zilch was done here - but I did read three-quarters of a book which will go in the CS bag when finished, does that count? (Mum once told me that she didn't have the slightest interest in anything I have to say - so other than trivial banalities we don't talk much - I read, she watches tv and fills in her puzzle books... it's usually quite peaceful, but their neighbour was drilling most of yesterday :() Pizza delivery and Part 3 of The Hobbit trilogy finished the day - I cried :(. Richard Armitage ...swoon :D.

I was planning a lie in as DS is also on leave today... 6.25 am   . I gave up at 7.30 when I found myself listing as many characters as I could remember from The Hobbit Part 3 :D. Most annoying - but heyho more flying time yeah? :A

So far I've made the bed, opened my bedroom window a tad to let in some air - it's raining here, had a cup of tea and caught up with the thread. Googled hoppity voosh - sorry pigpen not got one: I guess not knowing what it was should have given me a clue - but I thought it might possibly be a pigpenism for something I did have stashed somewhere.

Flying: Level 1 looks doable :o - every room is a ROD and I had (half-) thought that I should blitz the bathroom this week as it looks like I'm going to be formally meeting a young lady called Amy in the near future  _pale_. Must be serious - I've never 'formally' met any of DS's friends - I'm more of a 'Hi. He's upstairs. Take your shoes off and go up' sort of mum. But then I've known most of DS's friends since they were at playschool together:)

    Seriously Round...FLYING, Stop procrastinating!!!

    Round 1 =
    1- set WM x 1 swishing
    2- get washed & dressed
    3- feed birds
4- put out rubbish & recycling
    5- laundry shuffle
    6- WUDUPA pots x 1
    7- breakfast

    Back later

atb.. it doesn't work like that... he will stay in bed until at least 8:30 for the grandparents.

Round.. a pigpenism.. how rude... hahahaha... as if there is such a thing!!

Beasties away to school.. Dot has gone goggle-less .. the pair I picked up on Saturday had the screwless arm fall off when I picked them up to clean them and the other pair has an arm hanging by a thread so I need to take both pairs to have their screws tightened.

Sammiches made for OH's lunch.. he hasn't cleaned his flask (sat in his bag with cold coffee for 2 weeks!!) so I'm not making his coffee. DS3 needs to get a shufty on if he is wanting a lift.

Twinkle sat here eating bread and jam for breakfast with her coat on because everyone else went out she wants to go too!

kitchen swept because a weetabix exploded in there I'm sure.. it was simply everywhere!

and I am 14.2lb less of me.. 1 stone down 5 to go...

  • Morning all, I'm i this week.

ATB, yes I joined you for HHC as this mornings lesson was cancelled so put on loud music and living room has now been dusted, hoovered floors and sofas, cushions plumped and floors washed. All in 35 minutes.
WM already on and probably ready to be put in TD but am currently enjoying coffee and applying hand cream as my hands don't appreciate cleaning products.
My bathroom is in a terrible state as stopped cleaning it as it needs major work but that is not going to happen in the next few weeks so would now like a clean bathroom again so once coffee is done am off to attack.
Slinky challenge going very slowly, yes was lighter at beginning of Feb than I was at start of Jan but only just, 0.5 kg and nothing seems to have moved since. Need to go low carb as I know that suits me, it's just getting started.

HHC in the bathroom once I've put WM in TD.

    xx

Hoping for good weather tomorrow morning as, if it stays dry, my flying will involve helping to clean a submarine!

How come Flying anywhere but at home seems attractive? I can face the thought of turning out any cupboard anywhere - except here. Ditto dusting etc.

the extra speed walking to school will help the situation.. not that walking counts as exercise because if walking counted as exercise I would be 3 stone 2!

Walking and swimming count as wonderful exercise, Pigpen. It's just that we have to do rather a lot of either of them. 10,000 paces a day, remember? If it didn't count I'd be the size of a house. As it is, I've lost 200g in five days which isn't much but it's a step in the right direction - see what I did there?

The WM flooded several times yesterday. Entirely my own fault, I seem to remember, now, pouring a packet of some bio handwashing powder into the packet of ar!el to tidy up the cupboard. Big mistake. Huge. And it took me several hours to figure out what the problem was.
    Better is good enough.

    Morning all,

    ((Hugs)) Donnajt.

Well the electrician has turned up and is working away upstairs. Just turning up is an improvement on previous workpeople.

Towels were loaded and washed first thing this morning, in case the electricity went off early. Indoor washing line has been repaired, so hopefully now it will hold the towels without falling on my head. HHI done and dw emptied before taking DD to school. She was thrilled to be going back. :rotfl:

I'm limited as to which room I can actually get into today, plus I have DH under my feet. Enough said. So living room it is, as he has been banished to the dining room. Off to google hoppity voosh, as who knows whether I have one or not?!!

Two WM loads sorted, DW filter washed, recycling out, loos swished. Half an hour doesnt really touch the sides some days!

:T Go pigpen :T Well done. Note to self: must try harder :o (not expecting much joy on the scales tomorrow after last night's pizza for tea. I did leave 2 large slices but this was because it wasn't very nice rather than any form of self-denial :()

weetabix do explode it's a known phenomenon this side of the Humber!!!

I'm so innocent :A I couldn't think why a pigpenism was rude and was thinking 'surely I've not upset her with th.....oooh  :rotfl:. :D I see it now'. Ooops. Sorreeeee.

Round 1 completed and ... I've flung the bath mat :T:j Yep - that grotty, disgusting article (which I bought a replacement for months ago) is in the wheely bin. Now I HAVE to wash the floor so that I can put the new mat down....ermm but until then we'll use an old folded bath towel as a stop-gap:o (Another good reason for taking the slinky challenge seriously - the fatter I am the more 'magnetic' the floor becomes- as in: I can get down ok, but getting back up is a challenge :o)

    Round 2 =
1- unload WM x 1 on to airer
2- WUDUPA 2nd bowl of pots
3- Find a home for a homeless item:I'm going to find homes for the box of Christmas presents which is sat on the living room floor :o
    4- recycle said box
    5- coffee

Back later - still raining here.

Hello again. I was with you ATB. Well done slinkies on the weight loss esp Piggers, I have gained 4lbs. Still eating Xmas chocs but have just sent DH a text asking him to pick up fresh fruit on his way home.

This morning before 'gardening leave' I didn't get the bathrooms done (so will defer till tomorrow) but I did:

    Done the dailies
    Walked the dogs
    Went to post office
    Hoovered through
    Dusted dusty bits in LR

3rd washload is currently in the machine.
Spend less now, work less later.
