Thank you pigpen - I think it's better if large bags of sweets don't come in to this house at all
- and Jojo, good idea, I'll suggest to DS that if he wants to buy me a 'treat' prepared fruit is the way to go - or a bag of apples / bunch of bananas.
 Jackie has just given me a box of chocolates for Christmas. My first thought was I'll put them in the cupboard and give it to mum for Mother's Day. But that leaves them in the house - so I'm going to ask DS if he wants to take them to GF this afternoon, if not, mum can have them tomorrow. All it will take is a bad day at work and I'll trough the lot in one go.... they have to go.
It's a lovely sunny day here, but that wind is bitter.
Time to load WM and get it swishing again. I think I'll do some shredding while the kettle boils for a brew,

!!!!!!... swimming had the person who takes the money spy on me today while I was attempting to dry the girls... Whilst Dot was hitting the other 2, refusing to take off her wet things, refusing to get dry, rubbing her naked bottom on Squeak, burping in everyones ears and pushing and shoving us all... in the end I put on her underwear and stood her outside the changing cubicle... I was set to bring her home in just her knickers. Why is she like this? The other 3 aren't like this.. She was up at 4am and is just a nightmare.. I'm just too tired to deal with it!

He's vacuuming.
Confused now.
Sprayed cleaning stuff over bathroom, just got to wipe it off now it's had a while to do its job.
Still avoiding sorting out the clothes, though...I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
I did not go in the garden to dig up the leeks as on the dog walk a large mutt bundled into me, injuring my leg. I have, however, bathed my little dogs and I have to do the decorating as I'm working to a deadline when new doors are being fitted.
Semi-grumpy now as I'm running out of steam.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Clothes begrudgingly done. Bedlinen and towels uncovered from where they'd been included in 'my stuff'.
Bathroom looking fine.
Mooncup retrieved from his desk from when he unpacked the bags from holiday and obviously didn't know what it was or what to do with itand placed back in bathroom drawer.

 Hello Flyfriends, we're back. A long day of flying (and training) today: we had to get up at the local equivalent of 01.00 GMT  But it's been a very good week, just what I needed.
I have been trying to keep up with the thread despite slightly erratic wi-fi, but I can't remember everything that's happened this week, so please excuse me if I don't mention you all by name.
GWS vibes to all poorlies, especially pigpen's MiL, atb's DD and Valli.
Hope you get some a decent meal tomorrow, Jo-Jo.
Glad to hear good news of Fayolle's DD and Jazee's OH.
Hope you are enjoying your doggy visitors, Lame Wolf.
Well done to all H2H achievers, especially roundtuitand Honey Bear.
I shall definitely be outshone by all the other Wannabe Slinkies this week, as I have pigged out most disgracefully on my holibobs, just because it was there  (but I can still do up my jeans quite easily, so it can't be too bad).
DH is now overtired so grumpy again, but he did ask if there was anything he could do to help. Sort out your own clothes for washing, maybe?
I need to do WMx3 or 4 this evening or early tomorrow.
I have already cleaned the bathroom mirror which was grossly dirty.
The French windows are in a dreadful state too, but it's gone dark now so they will have to wait.
I may cheat next week and do this week's list, for old times' sake. Has anyone heard from Dusty Kitten recently?
G'night all, zzz.0 -

no you wont.. Roundtuit scoffed a big bag of M&Ms and I had a weeks worth of calories in one meal when we went out on Tuesday and scoffed 250g of a 390g galaxy! ... and 8 jelly tots... OINK!!!
DW on its second run and both WM and the dryer are on. All the clean laundry folded and away.. kitchen vaguely habitable.
OH hung up the non-dryer stuff and put out the recycling.

Hi all
Welcome home Iona.
Dropped DS at footie and went for a run, forgot how rough and stony the track was and now my foot is really sore! But it was a beautiful crisp cold sunny afternoon. Managed to get some washing out, DH made tea, sat and nattered with the teenagers for a bit.
DH has decided on a film for us to watch. So far it's all blood and gore and violence. He will be miffed but I would rather read my book.0 -
Freezer tetris played and I have squeezed in 2 portions of veggie chilli. Made SW Fakeaway Thai green curry (doubled the recipe) but can't fit it in yet.

Oh, what a surprise.
We need a new vacuum cleaner.
Again.
Trying to work out if this is the 2nd or 3rd that has spontaneously combusted in his hands. I lose track of the electricals that die on his watch, tbh.
Anyway, we're now in the market for something 'better'. I was reluctant to go for the cheapest possible like he insisted this time, but didn't have much luck even at the £120 mark. He's suggested £80. I think it'll be pointless expenditure at that level.
I'm tempted to just bang out megabucks on a Dyson or Miele. I've had a Dyson before and that lasted years being used almost every day (until the ex decided to leave it out in the garden rather than give me 24 hours to order a replacement bin and it rained ), everything cheaper has gone poufft in under 2 years.
Needs to be a cylinder as we don't have any storage/cupboards tall enough for an upright. Needs to be bulletproof. Needs to cope with somebody who is Kryptonite to electrical items.
He's already murderised two Henrys in previous homes.
