    Dizzy... just tired then?

I've just had a visit from the firemen .. next door but one have a fire in their garden and are burning tyres and carpet judging by the thick black smoke.. someone rang thinking it was the school on fire.. so I let them through just to check it was all under control and ok.. the neighbours have a brown curly dog and it was going wild with excitement at all these visitors.. it was quite funny. My girls nearly exploded with the delight of a fire engine in our street.. I might need to set the house alight just for their entertainment.. extreme decluttering that would be! ;) .. (I am joking it took 4 months to repair a kitchen fire, I dread to think how long anything more substantial would take)

And it is dinner early in here because they are all moaning they are hungry.. they have had breakfast, lunch 3 pieces of fruit and still starving to death apparently...

oh great.. I have 3 fire engines in my house... wee--ooo ing all over my hallway.

OH not finishing until 9 so I have dinner and bed time to do..

  • Hi all

In a CBA mood this weekend. Windows cleaned (reluctantly), clean washing put away, one load in WM to go over airer later. Need to address my finances but dont want too, money is leaving my bank account like a leaky sieve at the moment.

Oh and its DHs job to check the oil tank on a regular basis which he has not done so we are low on oil and having to ration the heating. House is freezing.

Sigh. Off to prod someone into helping make something for tea.

Have some ((hugs)), YL, if that's ok. Your day sounds a bit like mine. But I did get to spend a couple of hours in the garden, pulling at random bits of greenery in a vague attempt to make it look better. DD has just gone off in a strop because I looked at her / said something in the wrong way. Sums up the day really.

DH is at home tomorrow. My day off is swapped to tomorrow. Bathroom people start work tomorrow. Recipe for an interesting day methinks. Bring on the flying!

OK, off to muster some enthusiasm for cooking dinner.
