Hello sorry lost my temper with the whole log in drama on here but reset it today as I have missed this thread too much and had the time with not going to work
Got my drawers built now, OH has agreed to buy no more furniture that will take months to build. Got some dividers have started rejigging drawers and last night flung another big bag of stuff. Inc a handbag with a 2007 receipt and tax disc in. Will have been the last use. Still made me itch throwing it out. Those who know me know I am a hoarder
OH has decided that today we are finishing unpacking in the sitting room ready to bring in the sofas we have waiting. Yes still unpacking. I must try to fix my dishwasher too, died last week. I do not envisage getting everything done but we will make a good dent in it
Bought a load of silk flowers and stuff for the wedding yesterday. Never made anything with flowers before but willing to have a go. Got the price set and agreed with the hotel now. Diet I am back to the weight I was 3rd week in January lowest I have been in 15+ years
Hugs and more where needed xxOne day I might be more organised...........

Morning all,
Well some on getting your essay done Iona :T
I saw the most perfect new bed and accessories for DS online last night. Trouble is I don’t have the spare cash for them. eBay listing is therefore the absolute priority today!
I’ve also been reading the Love Food Hate Waste thread which is inspiring me, so more batch cooking on the cards today. I’ve unloaded the DW and just having a brew.
Have fab days all xxMFW

Morning all. Thanks for your good wishes for DH, he's having a scan on Tuesday so posivibes will be welcome then please.
I have a long list of things to do today. So far I have just done some printing for DD and had breakfast. I've had a bad back since Tuesday so think the first thing I'm going to do now is soak in the bath for a while.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all.
Lots of posi vibes to your DH, Jazee.
Pigpen - you made me laugh with your accurate description of men. Thank you, I needed that.
DH is faffing. Washing has just finished. Ironing about to be tackled. But...drum roll please....I am finally going to get a bathroom, 2 years after DH ripped our's out, declaring that he would do it and it "wouldn't take long".... Bathroom stuff being delivered today, work starts Monday. I won't believe it until it is done, but fingers crossed and all that.
Oh and I finally bought the new bathroom scales to replace the decrepid ones. And do you know what - they didn't show a weight loss. In fact the boomarang pounds are safely back on. I might have to take them back for lying to me....!
Have a lovely day, back later. X0 -
Morning everyone
Well done on getting the essay finished iona :T I hope you have a lovely break.
Get well hugs and posi-vibes to all who need them xx
I've deactivated my Facebook page for Lent - so spent yesterday evening listening to songs on Youtube: startled the budgie by singing along, DS came down and joined in with 'Georgy Girl' which was a favourite of his when he was small
and I got up and had a mini-boogie to The Communards - three minutes and I was nazzed
(I used to be first on the dance floor, and last off .... but that was many moons ago. I'm going to keep at it and slowly build up my stamina - which should help the slinky challenge too.
)
Must be some 'hidden' attraction in your neck of the woods pigpen - DS is heading over again this afternoon! He's not a teacher, so I think it's coincidence.
Flying: must do some today as I'm sitting with Mum tomorrow whilst Dad and DS go karting for the day. I am on leave now until 26th Feb, so I'm [STRIKE]hoping [/STRIKE] going to make some headway in the H2H in between Winter Olympics and catching up with friends.
All I've done so far is make the bed, drink a cuppa, and watched some Olympics.
Round 1 =
1- sort washing in to loads
2- set WM x 1 swishing
3- get washed & dressed
4- feed the birds
5- put out rubbish & recycling
6- breakfast.
Back soon

I really need to get these bedrooms reshuffled.. but I need someone to come and help me, I can't do this by myself it is a massive, mammoth, evil task.. it will be better but I can't face it on my own. why are there not people you can have come help with stuff like this?Morning all. Thanks for your good wishes for DH, he's having a scan on Tuesday so posivibes will be welcome then please.
Benji the Yorkie is here, and he truly is a little sweetheart. He's discovered the "doggy tv" that is to say the view from the patio door - he's fascinated by the antics of Walter the Pigeon. He's also had a little bark at the WM (bedlinen day on Saturdays). I'm quite amazed that we were bathed, dressed and reasonably compos mentis for his arrival at 07:40 this morning. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Round 1 completed. Also cleared the airer, and loaded the bowl with pots. Windows opened upstairs to let some air in.
It's ladies skeleton and short track speed skating this morning. I'll be back after lunch
Awww little Benji sounds adorable LW

LW.. you would be perfect.. I need someone to sit on a chair and watch my children play on ipads/xbox and read books and build box forts.. and dish out drinks occasionally.. OH is at work or college almost all the time and I can't leave the baby unattended... she screams the house down if I so much as go to the loo.. she pretends to be a dog on demand so you can pretend she is a shih tzu.. same fur! Pixie is a lhasa apso, Dot is a springer spaniel and Squeak is an afghan hound..
Round.. Well DD2's is called Tom..... I can send her on a spy mission for you if you want

Me again. Bath had, I'm now dressed, yesterday's washing has been put away, bed is made and washing up done.
It is pouring with rain so dog walk is delayed until it stops, so I'll quickly put the hoover round.Spend less now, work less later.0
