Hi guys .. hope everyone is having an AWSOME WEEKEND !

It's been pretty quiet on the DBM for me just working cooking and cleaning :(
I have managed to sort through all my finances though ...
I have set u a real budget, including everything from kids guitar lessons to council tax (in the past some of the extras I would just pay as and when but I have decided(with the help of a lot of you tube videos) that I'm going to do the envelope method as far as possible.
I have also took all the general finances and sorted all paper work policies and such into a recycled expandable file .. I feel soooo much better lol
Another thing I've done it draw up some countdowns .. so I now have a budget planner with everything listed and allowances to be made to each. And then my new fave section ... the countdown charts :) so for every £100 paid off I Colour a square .. and so chuffed to see 10 lovely coloured squares on my cc countdown, 2on my Morg ops, and 1 on the trip fund (gonna have more next week)

So although I've not made money for my DBM I haven't spent anything this weekend so win win and now I am so organised I feel a million percent better ... I have even allocated a side board cupboard for my finances .. whoop

So have a fab day guys and enjoy the sunshine :)

Wowsers it's been a busy couple of days with work work and eBay ....

I've managed to knock another £200 into the STF making it £400 this week :)
Hopefully I should have more tomorrow as a few more things finishing tonight ;)

I've started the envelope system and it seems to be going well .. I sort of wish that I'd started at the beginning of the month but I figure it's better to start early and be a bit all over for a few weeks and make some headway rather than put it off ... gotta say I can't believe all the things that I never really accounted for.
Today was my first use of the envelopes as I went for our weekly shop ... I was well within the £50 budget and I managed to get loads of chicken breast for the freezer whoopsied :) I needed some but managed to stock up and stay in budget !
I have a payment coming in tomorrow so should cover this months Guitar lesson fees, petrol and haircut envelopes.
The NSD are doing fab .. today I had to spend on the weekly shop but hoping for another NSW ... I'm going to do the garden so hopefully this should keep me busy. I do need a spike for the rosary washing line my Mam has gotten me but I'm hoping to find one in my dads shed ... fingers crossed otherwise no NSW ... but it will save money for drying and you can't beat whites that have had the sun to them ;)

So guys have a good one and hopefully check in. Tomorrow with more to put in the STF :)

So I managed a NSW this weekend and busted another £50 into the STF .. whoop !!
My mam had a spike for the washing line and im hoping my new shiny line will be all ready to go when I get home (my dad is the bestest ;) )
I have a few things finishing on ebay this week so fingers crossed and I have a payment going into the back on Wednesday which should all be allocated to the STF .. im hoping to get this cleared early next month .. pinkies crossed :)
The envelopes are going great and I have topped up this coming months from my smaller payments in the bank today .. they come in every 4 weeks so works well for my Groceries as I have split into weekly amounts.

Another sparkle of light was that I found a old asda recipt in my purse which when checked online had a voucher for £2.32 .. yay .. I normally stop here for my bread as lidl don't sell it and normally manage to get a couple of whoopsied bits so have stashed in my purse along with the voucher for my ice cream which is so over priced I still probably wont buy it lol.

on the boys front .. DSs went out shopping with their dad this weekend .. and DS1 decided to buy a top for £95 !! he told his dad he had the money at home and would pay him when he came home ... well ExH said he would pay half as he still hasn't gotten them an easter egg but that's still nearly £50 on a top .. its his money but ive made it clear when its gone its gone. .. what has really gotten to me though is that DS2 still hasn't had anything for easter and because he didn't want to spend silly amounts on clothes his did didn't give him anything ... what a plonker !! DS2 had told his dad he would rather save the money until there was something he wanted and could he just have it to put in his savings .. well nope was the answer .. what a way to teach your kids .. I knew there was a reason why hes an ex lol

    Have a fabulous week everyone and don't do anything I wouldn't ;)

WOOOOHOOOO another £50 into the STF this morning from yesterdays sales :)

Yesterday was a busy day with work and guitar runs but I did manage to pack my ebay stuff and list another 30 items ready to start this week .. whoop

I did come home to a letter stating that my bank account fee was going up .. not sure what to do .. I don't have an overdraft and I only use the travel insurance .. think im going to price up the travel insurance and take it from there ..
have a fab day guys x
