Do you have a local Faceb00k buying & selling page?

We do but I've tried in the past and it's a nightmare as loads don't turn up .... I suppose with trying to get as many NSD as possible it'll keep me in lol
Other problem I had last time was friends and family seen and asked for things and I couldn't charge so hence giving it away, but I really want to get some more debt busted ;)

Just thought I also gave a set of Ralph Lauren cases in the loft I could put on.

Any ideas how I can put F&F off .. sorry if I sound really mean

My mantra is just keep plodding.
I also found the payment a day thread helpful.
Luckily my good friends & family know my financial situation & would not ask for things for free.
    Good luck :)

So brand new day today and last night I fell asleep listening to Dave Ramsey's screems ... wowzers some of there acomplishments are bloomin amazing !

So today I have tided put washing on (left as long as possible-normally would have done at least 2 loads by this time in the week) prepped tonight's dinner and I'm just about to do next weeks meal plan and my weekly shop ...
I did manage another NSD yesterday and I'm finding not going out is really helping as this was a major downfall. I can't believe how much those bargains (that I never really needed or used) added up to from H&M and hbargains. ;)

I think I only need a few things so gonna try to keep as low as possible as I'm smashing my GC budget at the minute :)

Back to Job#2 tonight and it's a late finish then early start for Job#1 tomorrow but I just look at it as bustingthat debt now ;)

I have a couple of things finishing on eBay tonight not big earners but all the pennies add up ;) I do still have 2 things unpaid from Tuesday so may have to do unpaid item cases :(

So guys have a fab day ... see ya laters x

Thanks Hun ... I know that they wouldn't mind and I have never told anyone apart from here about the debt :o
    I just feel bad that's all as I know they have / are working hard for the money and they do already help me in so many ways. I think I will see how it goes and if it comes to October (when my 0% rate runs out) I might need to ask them then ... hoping to have it paid by then though even with the school trip !!!128521;

We often help our 2 DDs with various things as I remember how expensive it is to bring up children and how tight money was when we were bringing up ours. I think if they offer then take the offer in the spirit it was offered.

You sound like my DDs though when we offer to pay for things in that they tell us to keep it for ourselves. The thing is though that helping them out doesn't stop us affording to do things we want to and we just hope one day they will be in a position to help out their kids. My mum helped us so it is just payback really. I am sure your parents feel the same way. You sound like a very caring mum and daughter.

Thanks ES I know my parents did have it really hard when they first married and when I was young and I think it's due to this that they have done so well now .. that and the moral do not buying if they can't pay for it there and then.
You are right I know they like to help and I do get a lot of help from them in other ways ... when ex left they picked everything up for me and the boys, we lived with them a few months while my house was getting redone as I had sold the other house and had no where else to go. They also help with child care (even though they are teenagers) and my dad is more like a father to the boys than there own dad ;) I have just always figured that they do so much in other ways that unless I am mega desperate I don't want to ask for any loans.
I'm going to see how far I get this month and next on saving for the school trip fund and if I can't do it I known they will help.

On a separate note I'm lost today only 4 ebay things finishing .. 2 sold but not paid ... I'm hoping they pay today as then I can make my PAD :)

So just came home from Job#1 and found out that DS has been complaining to grandad about the broken dishwasher (it's been broken for a year) and the fact he has to do dishes everyday .. oh the woes lol
So I now have a new dishwasher due to be fitted tomorrow ... DPs won't take any money and it is a really nice thing to do but now I'm going to have to explain that it isn't run until full and if only a plate and cup is used to wash it by hand otherwise my electric will be crazy ;) .. suppose for them to run it they would need to bring cups downstairs .. don't know why but plates are always brought straight down but cups ... I'm sure they think the magic fairy does it lol

So yay on the new dishwasher and I'm still cautious on the electric useage (it does have an eco wash ?)

Off to job#2 soon after a quick cuppa ...
