Thanks Tahlullah and MFWill do at soon.
Looks like I will be working this weekend. I have an immoveable deadline. Work tend to be pretty flexible so this is payback time... Will have to fit in decorating and gardening in bursts.
DD has been really enjoying herself at the residential so that's a huge relief.
I have a decision in principle for my mortgage so sounds good so far. Always a relief.
Tried to change TV licence into my name. What a palava. Web says Ex has to write to them even though direct debit coming from my account. Ridiculous.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Currently trying to upload evidence for mortgage portal. Why is everything always so tortuous!
I need to see if I can find my N*wde log in details for pc as it won't let you do statements on the phone from what I can see... Regretting having 5 bank accounts right about now... as they seem to want all of them. I can imagine having quite a few follow up questions as some of the bills are on Ex's account rather than mine...
They also want things as pdfs and I struggle to achieve that from home...
On top of that the supplier I was switching my gas and elec to has just gone bust so I want to see if I can cancel the switch!!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Sounds like a horrendous way to spend an afternoon. 😟
Unfortunately they're all the same these days.
Remember when online was going to make everything so much easier...
I think you can order NW statements, but they prefer the app/PC.
Have you got any more hanging baskets to work on later to de-stress with?
Take care, G.If it's not adding up, compound it!5 -
Hi Grogged
I agreed with my boss I'd finish early today as due to work weekend... I'd lost all concentration!! I took something back and got a £20 refund. I bought some new cyclamens - so yes definitely I should go and plant them and do some gardening. I need to do more pruning too so that will help get rid of some of the frustration I am feeling!!
I have managed to cancel my switch and the direct debit to the provider who has gone bust so that feels like a result - and had it confirmed from my existing provider in writing. It took nearly an hour of being on hold...
I miraculously made it on to the Nwide site and managed to download statements. I took a photo of something - put it in word - and made that a pdf and managed to upload it. So have now managed to upload all requested docs.... until they come back and ask for more info!! Just hoping it all goes through okay as I will be devastated if not...
Ex has gone to pick up DD. DS was burning incense sticks earlier - just a third of a stick and I felt like I couldn't breathe and had a sore throat... Won't miss thatAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

You'll have a great cyclamen collection and be surrounded by colour.
Stay positive and if they ask for more stuff look take a breath, have a brew and ship it over.
Hope you'll have some time to relax this weekend.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5 -
If you need to make a pdf of a paper document you can use Notes if you have an iphone. (open notes, open the camera icon, then scan document). Getting documents off the online accounts can be a pain with some accounts - we found that out too. Hope you get it sorted soon."Think of many things, do one"

Hi MFI will have some chill out time. Doing Zumba first thing.
Ideally I need to go to the tip too with more prunings and other carp lying around.
Planted 14/16 cyclamens so far and moved some pots around. Found some new strawberry plants and nasturtiums.
Got a bit overwhelmed earlier. Not surprising really. I met someone for coffee this week who I expected to support me but I was left feeling worse instead. I missed my counselor too...
DD came back had a bath then straight out for a meal.
Work is a good distraction. Ex is going out most of Sunday. DS is away overnight tomorrow helping my sis while BIL goes camping with a mate. Should give me time to focus.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Just sending some support @savingholmes . There are always people who will say the wrong thing, especially when you are in a vulnerable position. Sometimes they don't even realise how their words could affect you and its a shock when you expect them to actually support you. You are doing so well."Think of many things, do one"

That’s great news on the decision in principle for the mortgage. I remain impressed by the speed at which you are stepping forward.
The cyclamens sound beautiful 🙂.
Preparing financial documents is an arduous task at the best of times. I realised I’d taken the idea of pots to new levels when I came to submit my statements and found I had over 10 😳🙂.
Hope the work is quickly done over the weekend and that you have chance to rest and be.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.
