    Still awake which is frustrating. I am also unusually cold. Just had some tinned salmon in seafood sauce and celery as a quick meal. (Biscuits weren't cutting it.) Put dressing gown on too.

    My head is circling on whether to aim for Nov or Dec payday for the divorce. The latter would allow me to be CC free before the mortgage and share some bills and lifts for DD for longer and I would not lose pooch as early.

    Cons that's potentially an extra month. While I pay my interest free cc quicker it delays mortgage freedom by 1 month. Awkward limbo would continue. Delay would take me closer to Xmas which I don't want...

    Of course there's no guarantee how long it will take to finalise finances thro court but we've pretty much agreed the details between ourselves...

    Could therefore be Nov or Dec payday... I carried on the mortgage application tonight but I need payroll contact details and want to ask the broker if it's essential that I am debt free at completion. If not I will just show it as a £13 per month cost which would take away much of the pressure to delay....

    Alternatively, I could ask family if worst case one of them could lend me £1kish...

    4) FI Age 60 income target £17.1/30K 57% (if mortgage and debts repaid - need more otherwise)
