That's really good, you can see the movement in it. The stand sets it off really well.
I was a bit worried, as at first I read that you'd broken it, rather than it was made from broken glass!
Doh.If it's not adding up, compound it!4 -

Thanks GAP, HSL, Grogged and Tahlullah.
I took another day's annual leave today. Did some shopping, some batch cooking and took DD to Primarni. Apparently DD will have to do a residential as part of her training for her new role so they are really throwing a lot of different experiences at her. There's poor wifi at the residential - that and the rock climbing are the current worries. She seems to generally be taking things in her stride though. She starts 1/9 - not long now.
DS should get paid at the end of the month - then he should be able to repay what he owes me.
The curtains arrived - so I think I am going to test them up in the window for a few days before a final decision. I like that they are full length - the yellow just isn't as bright as I'd like. Need someone tall like DS to help me put them up and take the others down. Trying to smarten the place up for the remortgage...
Need to do a lot of work in the garden. My tall leeks flowered into giant balls (amazing) and my celery looks like an attack of the triffids. I need to clear last year's veg patch - potentially buy myself some 'starter' veg plants (i.e. part grown) so I can make the veg patch look deliberate again. I've got a load of compost that I bought last year and earlier this year - so I think I just need to prune loads, pull some stuff out and spread fresh soil... and do a little bit of new planting... Need to add flowers to pots and the front 'bed' to again make that look deliberate rather than just overgrown....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I love the glass, it's lovely! You are very talented.

Thanks Jwil and Rugby
I love making all kinds of art. It feeds my soul.
I am going to keep the curtains - although at some point I'll get a second liner for them I think, The room looks a lot more balanced now the curtains are floor length and the stripes definitely make the room seem taller. We moved a chair out of this room and it made it seem a lot bigger.
I'm trying Zumba later but will need to wake DS as he is borrowing his dad's car while his dad borrow's mine. I need dropping off and preferably picking up. He's going to love me!
This weekend has definitely got to be operation declutter and get the house ship shape ready for the valuer. I don't know how soon after a remortgage application they normally turn up - but the back half of the garden is looking pretty wild... I need to touch up paint in the kitchen and the little bathrooms... All the woodwork in the house needs glossing... I'm not going to keep up with everything... so I am going to have to prioritise the things likely to have the biggest impact.

I really enjoyed Zumba and met an old friend from SW so that made it slightly easier. It really gave me a proper workout but I could pace myself - so I was happy with that. I wanted to try Clubercise too but there are no slots for either next week. I've just booked a Body Balance and my first ever Yoga class as there was no Pilates available either. Will let you know how I get on. Off to have a shower now and then get on with my to do list.
DS has hung the curtains. Jut need the crystal finial putting on now.
DH and I are splitting up (my choice). He went for a viewing today on a house but is trading down so finding it hard. I hope he finds somewhere soon as it smooths his exit from this house and the divorce... I'm hoping the divorce will be finalised October / November.
I will be remortgaging by myself and potentially taking on a mortgage of just over £200K on a house worth £260-270K. I should be able to manage as I'm close to debt free but it will be a big jump up in mortgage payment as we are currently on interest only at £130 pcm. Depending on what interest rate I get offered - I could be paying anything between £870 and 921 pcm.
We are splitting the debt - roughly £850 to him and £1370 to me. I will therefore amend my signature accordingly. As you can imagine I have lots of unknowns regarding legal bills currently - hence the delay in debt freedom. I'm hoping though that this way I ensure I prevent repeated debt cycles and can grow my wealth and of course happiness.
DD is going to be moved out during the work week from 2/9/21. DS is planning to stay around until after Xmas.

Its good that the choices are yours and you will move towards the life you chose and deserve. The mortgage payment will be less than your debt repayments so although it might look scary it will be fine and each month will decrease the amount you owe.Nonetheless it's a tough time for you emotionally and your self care and self love are important. As Arthur Daley used to say in Minder "the world is your lobster"5

Thanks Blackcats. Love a good bit of Minder... You are right too re debt payments. % wise £ has been a lot tighter previously.
Currently swapping pictures out to replace ones Ex wants to take. As an artist and past over shopper plenty of choice. I have offered to pay DD to bubble wrap the ones that are going.
I am supposed to be decluttering the equivalent of 4 boxes of stuff in my bedroom but picture swapping more satisfying.
I bought a huge triple panel artist print in Feb. Finally going to hang them. (Ex didn't like them.... Which was part of delay)Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
