Always liked that green pottery growing up.
Well done thinking differently about gifts, it could lead to further commission's.
Keep chipping away at the CC, it will be paid off soon.
Good luck with the remortgage. One day you will spot the perfect home and have the balance you're looking for.

Love the jug SH - I like quirky things and have a few pots with faces on in the house. Great idea about the Christmas present. I painted slate chalk boards for my neighbours last year and they went down well. A unique piece of art makes a wonderful gift.

All sounds good. Glad you had a nice time with your Sister, and great news about the commission piece."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3

Thanks MF, Fortune, GAP and Jwil
I had a good day today. Went into work and had a nice chat with a friend there that I hadn't seen for a while. Super busy day though so ended up working a longer day than planned. Another friend called on the way home for a chat so that was nice.
Following a couple of complaints to my local gym they agreed to restart my 3 month membership for free. I'm booking Wednesday off (or at least a half day). I am going to go to a Pil@tes class in the morning and then later in the day have a counselling session. Then on Saturday I've booked a Zumb@ class. I'm hoping to go along and use the gym at some point too. Sadly, they didn't appear to have any indoor swimming sessions available this week. It's due to rain here and it's summer so not that surprising. Hoping to gradually get fitter and meet new people. Will try a few different things - including classes - and see how things go.
I redid my nails yesterday with blue sparkly polish. I'm not used to having nails long enough so it feels a real treat - even though it only cost me £4 in total for those 2 nail polishes!! I need to do some more decluttering but only got back from work at 7.30pm so don't have the energy right now...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I am also enjoying having longer nails and have bought some gel polish and they look great. I haven't managed long nails ever, and this time something has clocked (attempted to stop biting them quite a few times) and they got long enough to paint.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉4

Had a really busy day at work but went ok although someone I have spent time with got tagged by trackntrace but they are double jabbed and have had c19 so hoping I will be okay.
I am really pleased got this for £30 on FB. Never owned a rocking chair but always loved them... Really comfy too and wipe clean. Essential with pets... Picked up tonightAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
