Thanks GAP, HSL and Lucielle
So pleased for DD and for us. If she did move out and coped - that would massively reduce pressure on us. I imagine though she will need quite a lot of support initially. Even if she did move out during the work week - I could see her coming home to retreat to her room at weekends. Could be a useful phased independence measure though. Of course at £12.5K - she'd be earning more than DS currently is at 23 as a graduate (roll eyes). Money is a massive motivator for her - so it may be that she copes better than I would imagine.
DH spoke to GP yesterday but they weren't too worried as long as DH's sugars stay below 9. (He was 8.7). The GP is assuming it was just a fainting fit... I'm less convinced but done all I can for now. I think he's sorted another blood test - need to check. DH gets second jab today which will be a relief.
The sun is shining brightly outside so hoping to go out with the dog for a walk once I'm showered and dressed. Will then start work. Have loads of flexi credit so relaxed time wise. Feeling a bit better today. The gym rang me yesterday about a scheme I started and restarted before the various lockdowns - apparently I have 2 months or so left I can use - and potentially restart in June which would be great timing as I will be fully vaccinated.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

So pleased to hear about your DD - she must have done really well in the selection process. I hope you have a restful and relaxing weekend to re-charge your battery.5

Today has been another mixed day. Not had walk yet.
The Sixth Form has agreed to take special circumstances into account for DD - so if she has better marks on other pieces of work earlier in the course they will be 'substituted' for more recent results which is a relief. I have also asked for better clarification and support for some remaining pieces of coursework for one of her subjects and that has been referred on.
Presumably following on from my recent blood test results - an ultrasound appointment has arrived through the post. I now have 3 medical appointments and jab 2 planned all before end of May....
Took dog for a walk after work. Felt very virtuous. Talked to a couple of people I met along the way who seemed in need of conversation...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

That's great news about DD and the potential swap.
At least your appointments are soon.

Congrats to DD and great about getting DS insured too. Hope DH is feeling better soon.

DD and I got our hair done!!! Celebration. She had hair practically down to her waist before and she's had it cut to closer to her collar bone... I'm still getting used to it. Feels good to have my hair cut in a proper shape again. I've asked him to book me in for a colour next time too - so I can go 'redder' rather than brunette.
Weather's not great here today. Hoping to go and see MIL tomorrow - partly as DD's birthday's soon.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
