swings and roundabouts at work - but I'm sure your efforts are being noticed, and if they aren't then some pointed comments (direct and not passive aggressive) are called for.

Thanks Mark, Lucielle, MF and Jwil - the visit went well - we even received some belated xmas presents sent via my parents from other relatives we hadn't seen at Christmas. Kids were happy as they both received money as well as wrap ups.
The weather was cold to start with and then the sun came out. We had chicken casserole, roasties and veg in the garden - aided by heaters and a gazebo. Also had a nice walk. My parents have had both pzr jabs and DH and I have had jab 1 of AZ so felt reasonably relaxed.
Did some more work on my return that had been playing on my mind the whole journey to and fro. It was good to get it down on the computer and sent off to the person who needed it. Someone needs the work for Tuesday to do some prep - and then I'll probably be called into a meeting to discuss it in more detail. Fun! I figure I'll just talk to work next week and 'cancel' holiday to make up for time worked. I'll then take the time off when it's less busy. Can't go any where overnight yet anyway... Really looking forward to when we can though.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
