Thanks Jwil and MF. Lovely to go from 5 figure debt to 4. Starting to believe we can hit our desired DFD of May/June.
I have had a lovely lie in. Need to work this afternoon though. Little worried as I seem to have toothache. Need to find some painkillers Hope it goes away. I have a private dental check up in just over a month.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks BH30 and Mark... Waves at debt....
A direct debit went out today - so actually down to £9707. Unless I get a pay rise by then (which is possible if job regrade goes through) April and May payments will be trickier as I will have bought holidays - reducing my monthly pay. My elec and gas are going up £20 a month from Feb pay period and I am expecting CT to go up in April too. It's a good time to be getting closer to debt free with bills rising all over the show and child benefit due to disappear for us in the summer with DD leaving 6th form.
This weekend need to book DD an optician's appointment and look for apprenticeships for her...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Keep the belief as it will happen, even if it's a month later, it's still going. It's only a few months away until you're DF.
Has DD given any indication as to what apprenticeship takes her fancy?
Hope your tooth has eased off.

DD wants an engineering apprenticeship. Just hope it works out for her. Keep reminding myself that if she really wants something she goes all out and can make it work... I hope...
MF - you're right we should be within 1 month of my desired goal... Our annual motoring bills all hit July-Sept time though....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
