Thanks MF, JWIL, HM and DIA
I had a surprisingly productive day. I've had some meetings and calls that have helped spark some work-based creativity - so am back on a roll. I have some actual deadlines again (and interest from others in what I'm doing) - which I needed. I can't describe how excited I was yesterday to make that CC payment - I was literally clock watching until DH got his £ at midnight!! I've held some £ back - so I can have that feeling again in a week or so LOL. I'll then still have 3 direct debits to go out.
It's been pouring it down here all night - and all day. It seems to be calming down a little now... We may get a walk later. I hope I might fit some writing in - in a little while but going to surf on here first.

It's good chipping away at the debt as you know it's consistently going in the right direction.
Your post does sound very perky and uplifting, may the creativity keep flowing.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5 -

Spent all evening bin a darkened room due to headache. At 11.30 DH asks if I'd taken anything for it. Doh! 30 mins later it was much better. Still awake though despite going to bed a while agoAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hope you are feeling better today. Glad you had a productive day otherwise though yesterday."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4

Thanks MF and Jwil. I got up late but other than that was fine. Some computer problems early on. I am very happy it's almost the weekend although I mostly enjoyed my work day today. I feel for those who don't have work or a passion project (or kids) to distract them. Mr A delivery came okay. Only 1 sub. So not bad at all. I have just ordered some more masks though for £25 - that are the kind Germany and other places are recommending. Grateful we are all okay and that our homes aren't flooded. Feel for those that are suffering....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks MF. Been sleeping really badly. Think brain is too full and I need to give it more rest breaks where I do nothing mentally strenuous - ahead of going to sleep. Also think I am eating too late at night. I made a gorgeous veg soup yesterday - all with pre-prepared veg - carrots, leek, potato and onion with about 4 different stock cubes (chicken and veg cubes) sprinkle of nutmeg, allspice, garlic granules and salt. Having it for lunch too - delicious.
£ still doing reasonably okay. Some unexpected spends - but so far had enough fat in the budget to cover them... 24 days to next payday - biggest things to watch out for Am**** and grocery spend...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well close to another £15 paid off debt today (normal direct debit) - getting there slowly. I've reconciled my bank accounts and realised I'd given DH £40 too much spends by putting an agreed payment through twice. I reclaimed it (all joint accounts) but talked to him first. He thought I'd just been 'nice' to him and already spent it on some trousers!! Despite me saying it was a tight budget this month!!! I did offer to let him have it out of March clothing allowance but despite a jutting bottom lip equivalent he said it was fine. I had to laugh!! I don't understand why he thought I'd deliberately paid it twice - when he knows we are trying to repay over £3K this month... Our budget isn't that elastic!! I think he will definitely be clamouring for increased personal spends once the debt is repaid though - fair enough. He did vote for slower repayment - but I over-ruled LOL.
We've used almost all of our in account 'buffer' already (excluding EF/Savings in separate bank account). So we need to be really good from this point in the month on...Feeling sleepy now - but if I succumb won't sleep later... About to be dragged out for a walk with pooch and DH so tootles...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
