I agree too, if your daughter needs extra or adjusted support then the school should be helping her. Today was the first day my ds had a live lesson, the teacher wasn't very competent apparently but ds said it was nice to see his friends. If my kids needed anything or didn't understand the work I would definitely contact the teacher if they didn't want to mention it.
Amazing to be heading towards credit card free in a few months, great work!

Thanks HM, Tahlullah, Blackcats, Jwil, MF and DIA
I appreciate the support. DH and DD's reactions had me doubting myself.
Someone from work ill with COVID is starting to come out the other side which is a relief. She stayed at home but has been really struggling. Hearing daily stories of wider losses though either friends of friends or their relatives. Sad times. Longing for it to be done with. When walk to post box later with pooch will post sympathy card to the friend's husband from last week.
Had a better work day today catching up with people in meetings etc. DH gets paid tomorrow. Planning next CC payment just past midnight!! Excited to see the back of the CC debt too. Target CC £2150 now... I'm planning to make my CC payments in stages this month - to spread out the feeling of getting a win! Fed DD grilled chicken and made the rest of us chicken fajitas with a kit.... My dog is looking so much better since we groomed her. She is giving me mournful eyes but she already ate all the puppy treats on hand so nothing to give her... Not taken her for a walk today yet but think DD may have done earlier.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

DH has been paid. He got the extra £6 net due to WFH too which was nice. So I have just paid another £1181 off target CC - meaning that there's just £969 to pay on that. I plan to pay some more off that later in the month - but just making sure we stick to plan on other things first. That reduces our total debt to: drumroll : £12737. Really happy and excited about that - in a way only a true DFW on MSE can be!!!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Go mortgage go! 😆
Great news on the CC front, I hope you make your stretch goal.
Belated, but totally agree with everyone else on DD school, so easy to make someone else's problems yours. If it's not adding up, compound it!4 -
Thanks Grogged. Go mortgage go indeed.
For some unknown reason I barely slept last night. Irritating. Where are those matchsticks...

That's wonderful news about the CC, you're smashing it out the boundary and it's dropping quickly!
Every bit helps with the mortgage.
