Just delurking to say that Ike@ wardrobe pull out wire shelves also work in normal kitchen units.
They worked out much cheaper for us and we use them in both 50 and 60 cm base units for pots, pans, etc.
If it's not adding up, compound it!

Thanks HM, Ssdd23 and Grogged. I think I will go ahead and get them. I will start with the wire drawers as we can fit those before doing any of the more major changes.

DD cut short my working day as she spilled over a litre of grey cupboard paint all over the kitchen floor. I wouldn't have minded so much if I had understood why it was even in the kitchen given we were using that paint in the garage. We did manage to get it off but I was gutted. Queue another trip to the shops where I spent over £100 - and I'm not even sure what I bought!! Double oops. Hopefully the rest of the week will be better.

That's the kind of additional extras which make a kitchen so much more unique and functional, utilising all available space rather than big, part-filled spaces.

Yikes to the spill and eak to the shopping trip!

Hope you get a better night's sleep today.

SH and Grogged can you give me the specifics of the kitchen pull out drawers please?
Sorry to hear about the paint disaster SH.  Nothing more annoying than wasted money from stuff being spilled that shouldn't have been there in the first place!
Hope you manage a peaceful nights sleep and that OH is feeling better. XX
