That's a lot of vehicle stuff in a short space of time.
Staycation is good and I'm sure you will make the most of it.

  • Hi savings - great debt repayment there  :)
We got a couple of charity bags posted through as well & I noticed some of the charity shops were open too - although I also noticed a load of bags, & things not in bags, outside one of the closed ones (why?!)
Thank you - reading your diary has reminded me to replan my debt repayment - hopefully I'll remember to do this tomorrow  :)

  • Well done on getting in to the £17s and I feel your pain with the vehicle costs all coming at once, our tax/MOTs/insurances are usually all due at the same time but this year we've taken advantage of the 6 month MOT extensions to move the date forward by a couple of months to give the car maintenance budget a bit of breathing space.

DITR I paid for 6m, then 12m, tax just to get it spaced away from the insurance.

You have had a lot of successes this week.  Celebrate them, they are great, including debt payment and weight loss.  Try and catch back upon your sleep.  It's not good to let your reserves get too low.

Is DH unable to do any of the bike service / maintenance himself, as that would keep costs down, plus if he could do the car oil change, various filters and other bits, that would help with budgeting too.

Congratulations on the weightloss and I hope you do get some rest soon.
