    Hi Jwil
Problem is I already had high anxiety before this. Working from home today. Tomorrow could be a challenge as I was supposed to go in for a meeting

It's incredibly hard to know what we should and shouldn't do, isn't it.  Loving that the Norwegian PM has said (aimed at children particularly) it's "OK to be scared" though - I think we all need a reminder of that at the moment. I do think that we all need to be even more aware of self-care at the moment, kindness both to ourselves and to others. Possibly limiting exposure to social media if that is promoting higher anxiety. I muted Piers Morgan on twitter this morning because he is just trying SO hard to stir up panic and it's absolutely no help whatsoever at the moment is it.

We do need a balanced approach to  this as I have a feeling it will be going on for a while.  Sensible to have a spare stock of food in case we need to self isolate but to clear shelves and overstock to the extent some people are doing is ridiculous.  The online delivery slots are patchy too.  Just tried to get one for my 85 year old mum and nothing in her area this week.

SH, if you still feel the same tomorrow, as you do today, make an executive decision and call time. It's probably nothing, there are loads of different bugs going around at the moment, but it's possibly the only way you will feel comfortable.

Whatever choice you make, you will feel guilty, no point putting yourself under any more pressure than you already are.

    Thanks EH, ES and MF
Thankfully my boss cancelled the meeting - she doesn't want to risk catching anything off me either. Mr A's did have some missing items but were able to deliver the majority of what I wanted (as long as soap and loo rolls weren't on the list). Fresh food in particular was available which was reassuring.

If I can get the consultant to do the referral form - the letter isn't enough - then I have a private MRI slot Friday afternoon - the day after the 14 day window expires for DH exposure. On that basis I have also got an appointment in early April to see the consultant again.

A member of DH's team was potentially exposed to 2 people who were coughing and spluttering that were part of the original group most exposed to the confirmed case. The person spent time with one of them in particular at the end of last week and now has a fever but otherwise feels fine. He is now also self-isolating at home. So hard to know if it was just a normal cold or something more as a lot of the signs are the same (in the milder cases).

Hopefully DH can go and pick up DS at the weekend. With the government's latest advice on pubs he wouldn't have had a job there for long anyway so I feel less guilty at telling him to ditch the job. It was a zero hours contract anyway. Makes you wonder what jobs there will be available at graduation. I do wonder though whether a piece of work that was due to come my way will be delayed by upto a year due to the current crisis and future escalation. I think I should still have plenty to do. Really need my leg to get diagnosed and on the way to fixed before the health service closes down to lower priority items....  DH's job should stay in demand hopefully... but who knows.

In money news - I have been over-spending compared with my budget. Slaps hand. This should be partly compensated for by fuel savings from more home working! I have made my normal mortgage OP so now owe around £153 less. Some people reckon the rate could drop to 0.1% - which would mean I would go down to 1.05% so that would save me another £20 or so a month.

I just lost a post. Self isolation continues. My sister's 5 year old has a cough so they are now all self-isolating.
The government may roll out tests so you can see if you've already had C19 - sounds positive.
DH is diabetic - so it will be interesting to see if he gets written to with the new guidance
£172 paid off a CC today.
The form I need for MRI is being posted to me

My sister's family are on the waiting list for testing! Not enough to go around. Nephew almost admitted to hospital - and she has a baby too. Scary stuff. Most of the office staff where I would normally work are now working from home. My daughter's school are doing rolling shutdowns so they have enough teachers for priority year groups. Things are moving fast

Well done on the payment and hopefully your form will arrive quickly.

Schools, colleges and universities are closing teaching, moving to online exams, remote teaching etc. Some are closing for a few weeks, others stay open for staff and they either attend or work at home. It's a precautionary measure.

Fingers crossed everyone who needs to be tested does.

I hope you are doing ok.

    We are okay.
DS has a mild cold where he is so we are now debating whether we can pick him up or not at the weekend as it could trigger us having to isolate for 2 weeks more! Due to see MIL Sunday and BIL and I have a medical assessment on Tuesday and DD has a follow-up on Friday. Don't like DS being ill away from us but don't want to risk DH's health either. DH also using DS's room while he works from home - which leaves his study set up for gaming. I also have loads of stuff in DS's room which would need to move if DS came home. He could help with that though. DH gets paid at the end of the week.
No more news from sister so hope that's good but may not be.
