Well said SHs. I love it when people choose gratitude and positivity. And it IS a choice.
    Enjoy your day.

Well I now have my formal diagnosis of ASD and DCD. Waited a long time for confirmation and it is finally here. Not enough evidence for ADHD but that's okay I wasn't sure about that one just thought I may as well check all 3 at the same time. Assessment was via Skype - saved us some fuel and time. Hopefully it will help with forgiveness for future and past misunderstandings - and if I need future adjustments or even govt support help me get it.
That must feel like a good step forwards to have confirmation x

Thanks EH. MIL immediately said she knew it had been my idea and nothing to do with DH LOL. She then turned to BIL and asked what he was doing which was very amusing. Trying to work from home today has been a nightmare. Couldn't log on to work ICT so had to use personal laptop to do what I could. Not great with confidential docs though. Still we can all play our part in helping the economy and keeping things moving.

We are going to have a roast beef dinner today. Got DS to peel the spuds while me and DH both tried to work. I also cooked a big pan of potatoes and started cooking bacon so I can make either bombay potatoes or a breakfast mix with bacon, chopped tomatoes, onions, mushrooms etc. It used up the last of my tinned tomatoes - but thankfully DS had at least 2 in his food crate that he came back with so we still have some. We managed to get eggs the other day - so I figure we can use it at lunch/brunch. DS thankfully also waited in line at the chemist (socially distanced) and got DH's medicines while I nipped to the shop. and got milk, bread, cheese and a little junk food. Didn't want to stay long. They had eggs and butter...Still no TP in shop but they were selling napkins. We have tissues for when we run out of TP and I have orders from China and elsewhere coming over the next few months - as long as deliveries continue!

How is everyone else coping with 'lockdown' Britain? It was nice to see fathers out cycling with small children today. People dog walking too.

Well I had a rubbish computer day workwise but other than that it was a bright sunshiney day. A work friend of mine is ill at home with what sounds like the virus - it isn't nice at all. Really hope she manages to get rid of it without it become more serious. She started with fever and cough last Saturday and part way through the week said she felt like she had been run over by a bus. My sister's family seem to be okay now which is good news and some of my other friends who have it - are finding it lingers but they seem likely to recover.

Our estate did clap for the NHS. I hope someone from the NHS heard... It was weird though I could hear claps and cheers from inside initially before we went out on the porch and joined in.

One of my nephews is taking food to MIL so she has no excuse to go out but I think it could get lonely for her fast if she doesn't. One of my sister's families got the books I sent them but the other nephew doesn't seem to have despite Am* saying they have. Hope they turn up. In better news it sounds like I am getting TP Friday from Am* who moved it forward a whole month now they are prioritising essentials! I don't know whether to risk amending my shopping order for Friday or not! I think I will give it a go.

Well it's a beautiful day here where I am. My brother has been tanning on his balcony - I am wondering if he will end up with stripes from the railings. Where one of my sister's live - the neighbours requested that a neighbour cut down a tree at my sis's cost so they could enjoy sun instead of shade in their narrow back gardens. My sis with the 5 year old and baby posted a video today - they looked so cute and happy - look like they have recovered well which was a relief. I'm watching birds out of the window - and can easily hear them now with less traffic. I am hoping that this will be a reset button for nature.

There is a student petition out not to pay the final term's rent - but at the moment we are still due to pay £933 for the final term even though the advice was go to your permanent home. My DS has lost out on so much so-called contact time first by strikes - and now by the virus... I wouldn't be surprised if there was a future class action suit equivalent at some point in the future. I am glad currently that the government is enforcing social distancing. My pooch was really subdued yesterday - and didn't eat any of her normal food. Las night though she tore open a tube of randoms - not impressed!

Song for the day: Grace got you - MercyMe - there's a lovely video on utube. Have a lovely day. Enjoy a walk, get some vitamins in.
