Yay,Christmas can officially begin, work was fun, we spent the day messing about with the patients, one had come in on Saturday and has to stay tomorrow, her room was very bare so me and my friend went and decorated it with loads of tinsel, then I spent the afternoon playing Frustration with another patient who has to stay in then it was time to leave.......we have had sooooo many donations of toys for Father Christmas to give out in the morning...........sometimes I love my job
I'm all done until Thursday now so can relax for a couple of days,I'm just chilling with an drink then me and DD are going to watch a film.....hopefully we will both stay awake because we have both been up since 6 so feel like nodding off:rotfl:

Happy Boxing Day everybody,I hope all your Xmas wishes came true and you all had lovely days
We had a noisy hectic day here with DGS running around,he really got into the Christmas spirit and had a whale of a time,me and DD were shattered when they went home though and didn't really do a lot,I got some lovely presents including books I've been after, some bits for my dolls house pjs, socks, and chocolate,I also got some more lovely Xmas decorations including a china bauble that was made at nursery by DGS that is so cute, they used prints of his hands and feet to make raindeer faces,I got a lovely little house that lights up and looks really sweet,I've always wanted to make a model village so perhaps this would be a start :rotfl:
DD1 and SIL got me a voucher for a photo shoot so I can get a nice family photo of me and my DDS which I loved the idea of,Im always moaning I don't have a decent photo of us all together so this is perfect ,we have several months to book it in so I will wait until DD1 has had the baby,we can also include the dog if we want
Today is being spent lolling around reading my new books then later me and DD are going to have a buffet style tea and play board games,we took the dog out for a lovely long walk around our country lanes this morning and I really enjoyed getting out in the fresh air,I can't quite believe how mild it is today ,I put my scarf and gloves on but had to take them off halfway round because I was too warm:eek:Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -

Work went by quite fast yesterday,I spent most of the day helping our play specialist sort out the presents left over from Xmas day,Then it started to get busy so was rushing round all evening until I went home
I've been off today but I'm not very well,I developed a sore throat yesterday afternoon and now have a horrible cold and my throat is killing me,we have so many kids on the ward with flu and other lurgies so it was inevitable really
I had to go into town today to take some bits back and to look at the watches in Debenhams,I took my voucher I got from work and found a lovely watch that I liked so I bough it,it was £80 so I have £20 left on the card, when I'm feeling better I will go and have another look round,I couldn't do it today because I felt too rough,DC has got it too so we are both like dying swans
I'm back at work tomorrow again so I'm hoping I will feel a bit better in the morning otherwise it's going to be a tough dayOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
