  • Woke up bright and early this morning but am in quite a lot of pain so not much will be getting done,I've tidied and cleaned up and sorted the kitchen and living room and I've got a load of washing on the go

DD had to take the cat to the vets this morning because he has a problem weeing,he had to go last Sunday because of the same problem which they gave us meds for and he seemed to be getting better but then this morning he was crying while trying to wee so had to go back
We have got to get a urine sample from him now, they have given him an anti biotic injection and some painkillers again, they think it's a long term problem that cats can get which can be hard to diagnose because it has various causes, they said it could be stress but he is the least stressed out cat you could ever come across unless he is good at covering it up

I told DD it's sounds similar to when they diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia,I don't look stressed but can be really quite upset without it showing outwardly
Hopefully we will sort it out and he will get back to normal soon

I'm just waiting for the washing to finish so I can hang it up then I'm going to do some sewing,I feel like doing something crafty today so that will do

Hi Ploppy,it's good to see you here,I hope you had a good Christmas despite the cold, mine seems to be not really doing anytning at the moment,I've just got a sore throat and felt a but achey today,I've been taking enchinacea so hopefully it that that is keeping it at bay
I will look up the books you suggested, thanks for the recommendation :)

Mine started with a sore throat before Christmas but has really escalated now. Feel even worse today. Might go to dr tomorrow to get him to check my chest, feeling a bit wheezy and rattly today. I can't take Echinacea, I am allergic to it.

Oh that's a shame you can't take Echinacea,I swear by it and usually take it at the first sign of a cold and normally it nips it in the bud, this one feels like it's on it's way out again so hopefully I've got rid of it

  • So today has been spent pottering round at home,I did some sewing for a while then read for a bit,I had to clean the chickens house and run out so they are sorted now,I've done a couple of loads of washing and that's hanging on the radiators to dry

I got a Honey and mustard Quorn chicken meal that I made a couple of weeks ago out the freezer for tea so just had to cook some veg and potatoes,I also cooked food for lunch for me tomorrow

I'm working again tomorrow so have to be up early,my friend messaged me earlier to say she can give me a lift though so I can stay in bed until 6.15 :j:j:j
I'm hoping they will let me leave a bit earlier tomorrow because the buses finish at 8pm and I will have to walk home otherwise,I will see when I get there ,there might be someone who can drop me home,if not I will ask to leave 45 minutes early

We are not planning on doing anything exciting on New Year's Day ,it will be just me and DD so we will be cooking a roast dinner and then probably play games,I might suggest we take the dog on a nice walk if the weather is dry

  • I take eccinacea too when I feel like I'm coming down with something. I hope you're better in the morning. I also hope you can get a lift or leave early rather than have to walk home .
