Yes, because of the allergies and how much sugar is in the free from range. I can't have too much sugar either. The list seems to be endless!

I'm not sure about the sugar content, there are also some good recipes around for free from cakes and other treats you might be able to find a low sugar one,DD has a recipe that uses apple sauce to replace some ingredients,it still has sugar but possibly less than normal
    Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,120
  • The Christmas film was good,it was cheesy but quite funny and entertaining, I'm just waiting for a load of washing to finish so I can hang it up on the airer then Im off to bed
I'm also pleased to see my diary has reached 40 pages,I'm not known for my ability to see things through,I tend to start things with lots of enthusiasm and then just lose interest and don't finish them
I am finding writing this diary really helpful though and fully intend to keep it up as long as I can

  • I enjoy reading it, so please do keep updating it!

I watched Sleeping Beauty in bed last night with little one and then had a chilled out night in bed watching TV and helping a friend out with some advice. x

    Starting afresh.

    Ok I will :rotfl:

That sounds like the perfect evening to me,my girls loved all the Disney films,in fact they still do even though they are adults :)

  • Monday morning has rolled around again, the weeks are just flying by.
I'm just having a cup of tea before I take the dog out,I'm wasn't going to get up until 9 but woke up at 8 so got up then,it's still a 2.5 hour lie in for me

It's payday tomorrow so I'm quite excited and apprehensive to see what I will get paid as this months wages include unsocial hours from October when I did two sundays,I'm hoping it's enough for me to be able to stay on my reduced hours

I have however been looking at my budget and with the new SC payment I think I might even be able to do it on one Sunday and one Saturday which is what I do as a minimum normally,so anything over that would be a bonus

I still haven't sorted out the council tax though so need to get on that, the last person I spoke to told me they get the list of students in October but it's not usually available until November or December so I might go back in there tomorrow and see if they have it yet,I had no luck with getting an exemption certificate from DDs uni and she is not back at uni until January now so she can't get one
I can manage for now without the discount but I need to get it sorted as soon as possible

  • I've just edited my signature to take into account the Christmas shopping I have done so far, any spare money this month will be bein kept back for my trip to Bristol in December,DD has paid for the travel and hotel so I just need spending money for eating and any thing I see at the Christmas market,If by chance I haven't finished my present shopping I will take some of my Xmas savings too,as this will give me something to shop for that I was going to buy anyway if you see what I mean, that way I get the enjoyment of shopping but I'm not buying anything extra
I haven't actually got much left to buy now so can leave it until then if I want to
I am really loving being organised this year,it's a totally new concept to me and I'm definitely keeping it up,I just need to adapt it to the rest of my life now :rotfl:

  • I'm allergic to pine needles too, v annoying.

Ginger nut biscuits helped with DS1, and dry toast.
  • Definitely keep posting on your diary OBL as we enjoy reading it :).
Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
    Debt in July 2017 = £58,766 😱 DEBT FREE 31 OCTOBER 2017 :T 🎉
    EMERGENCY FUND 1 = £50/£5,000. EMERGENCY FUND 2 = £10/£5,000.
    CHRISTMAS SAVINGS = £0/£500. SEF = £1,400/£12,000 PREMIUM BONDS ME = £350. PREMIUM BONDS DH = £300.
HOLIDAY MONEY = £0 TIME LEFT TO PAY OFF MORTGAGE = 5 YEARS 1 MONTHS
  • You still have a healthy budget though for what you have left. I think I will put a percentage of my earnings to one side too, thanks for inspiring me to do it.

I wish I got paid tomorrow. I am the 15th of the month, which is great at times, and not great at others.

When they do finally sort the council tax it might make your bill extremely low. That will be really helpful.

It certainly is annoying,I love the smell of a real Christmas tree but if I spend too much time in the same room as one I have trouble breathing so I just can't risk it:(
I've just sent DD a text suggesting ginger biscuits and also ginger ale that gone a bit flat,I find this helps if I have a tummy upset
