I've known a couple of phones have difficulty charging and it turned out the place where the cable goes in was mucky. Took a needle and some patience but I got them both working again. I'm just mentioning it in case it helps and can save you some cash.

I hope your symptoms are soon gone so you can enjoy your time off.

That's exactly what the problem was 😀they cleaned it out and it's ok now. I didn't pay for anything as it's under a 24 month warranty 😊

Still not feeling great but I have been in and sorted my phone out and it was as Cherryfudge suggested some fluff in the charging port. They sorted it out in a few minutes so I'm up and running again now 🎉🎉 I also picked up DDs order and returned the item she didn't want to keep and I got all my shopping apart from yogurts because they were too expensive 🙀 I meant to get something else but forgot 🙄

Im just having a cup of tea and then I'm going to to a bit more of my bedroom. I would have a little nap but the builders next door are too noisy so I might as well do something useful. I also got some washing done and pegged out before I went out. It's sunny and windy today so the washing should dry.

I bought parsnips, carrots and potatoes today so I'm going to roast a load up and have roasted veg with a Quorn chicken fillet and Brussels sprouts for tea 😍

Yesterday I was over at DD2s to wait for a delivery of furniture from Ikea. I didn't do a lot else 😀

Today I worked an early doing the surgical list which made a nice change. I haven't done it for a long time so it was nice to be reminded of how it all works. I was finished by 3.30 and home by 5pm. I took B out as soon as I got home mainly because I had a card to post so thought I would kill two birds with one stone. I also got a load of washing done. I think I will do less washing eventually but I have been catching up on the bedding off of DDs bed and I washed a couple of throws of hers and her Oodie that I'm taking with me tomorrow. I should only end up doing washing a couple of times a week once I've caught up with it all.

Tomorrow I'm at DD2s again to help build the Ikea furniture and then she is going to cook me tea 🎉🎉 and we will have chairs and a table to sit at 😀

We were all given an Easter egg today that were donated to staff from a kitchen company to say thanks for our hard work and happy Easter so I've been enjoying that tonight 😍 I'm now off to bed because I've been up since 5 am and I'm feeling tired now

Got up early today and took B out for a walk in an attempt to tire her out so she doesn't. bark all day 🙄.

Went to DDs where we built a bookcase and wardrobe. They both went together well and look really nice.DDs bedroom looks less sparse now there's a wardrobe in there. I am annoyed though because I took lots of things over there today but didn't think about taking her coat hangers 😀

I came home home on the worlds slowest bus which seemed to take ages. It actually takes an hour to travel from one side of the city to the other by bus, it's nine minutes if I get the train but the times didn't work and I would have to pay whereas by bus pass is already paid for

I'm just going to make my packed lunch for work then I'm off to bed

An hour on the bus versus 9 minutes on the train. I’m the same with the tram versus the train but the tram is cheaper than the train, even with the senior railcard. The tram also takes me nearer the shops.

  • How have you got on with the UC claim?  Once that's sorted it should make things a bit easier for you.
