I'm not having a good day today. I got up later after a bad nights sleep and realised I would have to go out to get dried dog food because I had run out so I ended up getting the bus into town. I was only out an hour but the day has just disappeared and I haven't achieved anything useful. I really need to sort out my sleep so I can get up at a reasonable time and have an actual full day to get things done. I feel like I've wasted my two weeks holiday as I had lots of plans but hardly any of them have been done.

Your body obviously needed the rest so not time wasted. I can’t wear proper shoes, I go from sandals to boots via trainers. My feet are very small but I have a bunion on my right foot, surgery appointment to correct came up at a time when I had that particular leg in plaster so had to cancel 😩

Im quite sad that they are so painful now 😟I do tend to spend all my time in trainers or boots in the colder weather and I did always wear sandals in the summer but next year I will need to find some with a spongy sole because they ones I normally wear are too thin so hurt my feet, weirdly they are ok if I walk around barefoot 🤷♀️

I will need to go back to the doctor to be put back on the list. To be fair it’s not painful. I’ve always looked after my feet too but bunions are hereditary unfortunately, so I have my mum to thank for that 😕I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

We were going to go up to Okehampton today for a good walk but neither of us felt like it and the sun was shining so I put some washing on instead. It's now clouding over so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't rain 🤞🤞
I have been productive and put the deckchairs back in the loft though along with some other bits that needed to go back up there. I'm just having a coffee and then I'm going to crack on with some knitting. I have decided to just do good old seed stitch on the middle panel of this jumper because it's easy, knits up fast and gives a thicker finish than plain stocking stitch. If this attempt fails I will be giving up 😀
My shoes that I ordered arrived and looked lovely but sadly were not comfortable enough for me to wear. We are going to go into town tomorrow to pick up the Next shoes I ordered so I can try them on in the shop ,if they are no good I will return them while I'm there and go and look in town again, I didn't look in Clarke's because they are usually too expensive and don't look that nice but I might have no choice 😟I also didn't look in Schuh because they are expensive but will have a look tomorrowOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
The shoe problem has been solved 🎉🎉the shoes I ordered from Next were no good so I returned them while I was there, we looked in Clarke's but I'm not paying £80 for a pair of shoes so I decided to have another look in M&S where DD picked up a pair of black patent fake leather shoes with a small heel, they looked lovely with my jeans and feel as soft as slippers so I bought them.
They are not the perfect shoe to go with the dress I've got but they will look fine and I will be able to walk about all day. I decided that spending money on a pair of shoes with a heel that I only need for one day was a waste and these will be worn more than once, they look lovely with my skinny jeans which I wear most of the time anyway and will make a nice change from the Adidas shoes that I normally wear with jeans, also the cashier checked my sparks card and there was an offer on shoes so I got them for £23.60 instead of £29.50 🎉🎉🎉
I also forgot to say yesterday that I used oneof my new rechargeable camping lights in the loft and it's amazingly bright, I just hung it on a nail and I could see perfectly well. I normally use an old office lamp which I have to plug into an extension lead which then trails down onto the landing so I won't need to do that anymore. I'm now looking forward to seeing how well it lights up in the chicken coop in winter. I think I'm definitely going to get my moneys worth out of these lights even if we don't have any power cuts.
Last night I finally got going with my jumper 🎉🎉🎉 the seed stitch works really well and is so much quicker to knit up than the original pattern, I just need to make sure I count the right amount of stitches. I'm hopeful I might actually get this jumper finished now.
Tomorrow I go back to work 😟but only for a week because I have another week off after this week 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I couldn't fit all my AL in in the summer so ended up using it now which is lovely.
Im not sure if I posted this already but I have got an appointment with the Rheumatologist on the 23rd of September so I haven't had to wait long at all, it can't come soon enough for me because I am in a lot of pain a lot of the time and I'm also feed up of waddling about like a penguin when I first stand up. I'm still walking as much as I can but I am much more limited than I used to be. We did walk into town today which takes half an hour and that has finished me off,it's quite frustrating when you are used to walking for an hour or more at a time

Glad you found some comfy shoes for a good price 😃 I got a brilliant rechargeable light from Lidl, I use it to read in the bath in the winter as I hate having big lights on, it spoils the ambience. I also have lots of candles lit so it’s very relaxing. Hope you get some answers from the Rheumatologist appointment.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
