CRANKY40 said:I saw the Edwina Currie thing too. I wonder what she suggests for people who can't even afford the gas or electric to cook the food that they've been given from the food bank, never mind switch any form of heating on? Stupid woman - she needs to join the real world. If we're forming a queue I'll come.
In other news as I know your health symptoms are similar to mine I had another diagnosis to add to the list last week. I have fibromyalgia and need to have more tests for rheumatoid arthritis as my great grandad died of that aged 41.
It's Fibromyalgia that causes most of my symptoms, I was diagnosed with that 18 years ago and have been living with it ever since, it's different to the symptoms have now though as it normally feels like an ache ( like having flu) all over and my legs and arms feel like lead and I can manage it quite well with my painkillers, exercise and techniques used to treat somatic conditions, it also doesn't show up on blood tests which is why I'm now being sent back to see the Rheumatologist to check for Rheumatoid Arthritis

I had to pop into town today for some bits of shopping and got a bit soggy because it chucked it down.
I stayed at home for the rest of the day to catch up on housework so all my floors have been hoovered and washed .
I am going out again tomorrow because I need some shoes for DD2s graduation in a couple of weeks, I've got a dress to wear but the shoes I would normally wear won't be any good for me in my present state as I wouldn't be able to walk in them,I'm hoping I can find a cheap comfy pair with a low heel somewhere. I'm going to have a look around town then I might catch bus down to the retail park where Matalan is to see if they have anything. We have Primark and Shoe Zone so they might have something if I'm lucky. I looked in M&S last week but didn't like what they had.
We have also been watching the new Lord Of The Rings programme on Amazon Prime and I'm very impressed so far,we watched episode 2 tonight but now have to wait until Friday for the next one. I am also excited to see that Gogglebox is back on Friday, I love watching Gogglebox, plus it will soon be Bake Off time again 🎉🎉Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1203 -

I really enjoyed Maverick too. I went to see the first one at the pictures when I was about 16..sigh! To be fair @Deni_debt-free_dreamer TC might look younger than us, but we aren’t as mad as a box of frogs, so it all evens out 🙃
@Onebrokelady we are enjoying the new lord of the rings too.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Ah yes - Edwina Currie..... pause. I remember some years ago when she was Junior Health Minister - one of her good ideas then was that pensioners who were having trouble paying their utility bills and were feeling the cold should wear woolly hats indoors.....Another one here who enjoyed the new Top Gun - sheer escapism and what we all need in these depressing times to cheer us up!👍
I liked the first episodes of Rings of Power too. At the moment it's edging in front of House of Dragons for me - mind you I haven't seen the latest episode yet and all the reviews I've read are saying the ending is fantastic! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I love Bristol. We’ve visited a few times en route to Cornwall and it was one of the first places we visited in the motorhome. The site was on the riverside and it was a live walk in with no parking worries. I loved the market that does the rustic style foodie stalls 😀 Is it called St Nicks?January spends - £587.580
