I do hope the anti-bios kick in soon, OBL, you've been poorly for quite long enough.

Thanks Foxgloves, it has definitely not been my year so far regarding my health. I am actually feeling slightly more human today so hopefully the anti bs are doing their thing. It's so frustrating because I have so much I want to do, my garden is starting to look like the rainforest 😀

Another night of nightmares but not as bad as the one the night before. I am feeling lucky though as by this time in the day I have forgotten what it was about,I wake up terrified but the memory quickly goes most of the time, I have had some in the past that have made me too scared to go to sleep for nights at a time as they tend to be recurring and I used to remember every detail but now my memory isn't as good that doesn't seem to happen. I used to sleep walk as well but I haven't done that for a long time thank god.

I actually woke up feeling slightly more human today 🎉🎉🎉 I've still got a cough and am breathless when walking but my chest isn't hurting anymore when I cough. I'm thinking I should be recovered enough to go back to work on Sunday if I carry on like this 🤞🤞

I took B for a very slow stroll through the fields, she does like it when I walk slowly as she gets to sniff more things,I'm usually marching along but I think a slower walk is better for her because she does like to investigate every single thing 😀

Its a brighter sunny day here today and quite warm if you are in the sun,the wind is cold though I've got some bedding on the line so that will hopefully dry

Tomorrow if I'm feeling up to it we are going to take B down to the beach for a walk. It will be our last chance to take her  before the dog ban comes in on Sunday, there is a section that is open for dogs all year round but not the whole beach. I don't take her in the summer normally because it's too hot and it's packed with tourists so too busy. I only visit between October and the end of April when the dog ban is lifted.

I also learned today that one of my favourite shops in the city is closing after being open for 15 years, it's a lifestyle shop that sells everything from home wear  to jewellery and gifts. It's my go to place for birthdays and Christmas for gifts for my DDs. They do have a branch in Tavistock but it's a bit out of my way unless I go for the day. I've never been to Tavistock so might have to pay it a visit nearer Christmas to see what's what. So sad that these independent shops are closing, our city centre I rapidly filling up with phone shops and not much else 😟

It sounds as if you’re on the mend after a nasty infection. Take care. Pleased you have a follow up appointment.
It’s very sad to see the town centres deteriorating as they are. Ours was making a bit of a comeback but many of the small independents that were beginning to open on a designated street that becoming a bit of an artisan area are now also shutting.
Bet the dog will miss her beach trips. It must seem like a different place during the summer season when it’s full of tourists. You’re still very lucky living in such a beautiful place.
Hope you have a good day in work.

It's not unusual for nasty nightmares to accompany infections, @Onebrokelady. I remember many years ago when I had a really bad bout of tonsillitis (even the Dr was impressed with the yucky state of my tonsils!)  - the infection caused a sort of delirium at night & some of the dreams/nightmares I had during that week were just off the scale of weird. Hopefully this will calm down for you now that you are getting better. Slow dog walks sound nice & leisurely.

Hi everyone sorry I've been awol but I've been busy doing things in the garden and house.

Its all come to a stop now though because I have Covid so I'm isolating in my bedroom because DD is testing negative.
I went to work on Thursday feeling ok but with a slight bruised feeling throat and by bedtime I felt a bit off but nothing too bad. I woke up on Friday morning with the most awful headache and was so dizzy I couldn't stand up, my throat was sore and I felt rubbish so I thought I would do a test just in case as one of my co workers came down with it this week and I was with her on Monday. I really didn't expect the result to be positive but it was a very bright positive result so I'm off work yet again and have been in bed mostly since Friday. I have been sleeping most of the time mainly because of the headache,I also feel sick and dizzy which is a different symptom to the original variant.

Im also fed up because we were meant to be going on a really nice walk today 😟

I missed a lovely sunny day yesterday but did get to see some of it from my bedroom window, last night we had torrential rain and a few claps of thunder which was needed by the gardens and farmers.

I had started tidying my back garden before I got ill and had also emptied out and organised my shed which has become a dumping ground. It looks lovely in there now and I can get to everything I need without having to pull out loads of stuff first. My job for Friday was supposed to be cutting the front lawn but that didn't get done and now it's rained it's soaking again but I won't be able to do it for a while anyway, I am going to strim the grass then I'm going to put the chickens out there to scratch up what's left ( I have a really big dog crate they can go in that I can move around) then I'm going to decide what to do with it. It's flat at the top then slopes down quite steeply before flattening out again at the bottom, I'm thinking of planting it with shrubs and flowers to get rid of the grass completely because it's full of moss and weeds or I could reseed it I suppose 🤷‍♀️

Ah no, really sorry you’ve got Covid again.

I like the idea of shrubs and plants. My rabbits eat everything so there’s no point me even trying to plant anything at the minute.

    Hope you’re better soon x

Thanks,I'm thinking shrubs and plants would be less work than grass, this is my front garden so my chickens can't access it unless I put them out there otherwise I wouldn't bother because they would also eat everything 😊
