Had an awful night last night with a very painful throat and lots of coughing. I have managed to get an in person appointment today at 2.10pm so will hopefully get sorted out then.
Its really cold here today and the sky has changed from blue and sunny to grey clouds. I haven't done anything at all yet today apart from sit on the sofa

Sorry to hear you're still suffering, @Onebrokelady - hope the appointment is useful.

I had my appointment this afternoon and I have a chest infection which is what I thought was going on. The doctor gave me some antibiotics and I have to have a follow up appointment on May the 30th with one of the asthma nurses. Last time I had a chest infection it left me needing an inhaler but they didn't think I was asthmatic just that I had irritated airways. I told her that my chest has never really recovered from having Pleurisy several years ago and then having Covid in 2020 seems to have irritated it even more. I'm hoping I will get better quite quickly now it's being treated.

Hopefully the antibiotics will work their magic quickly. The throat sounds horrendous.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Last night was interesting, I had the most horrendous nightmare,it was the worst I've had in a long time 😟I do have nightmares quite often but not as bad as that one.
I am still not feeling too good today so have called in sick for tomorrow, it's a bad time to be off sick but I can't really do anything about it. I had the girl I'm supposed to be in clinic message me just now to see if I would be back, she is panicking in case there's no one to cover me but there's not a lot I can do about it. There are only a few of us that can do blood tests so they need someone to cover me who can do bloods, this girl can do them but she is newly qualified so a bit nervous to do babies, I told her they will have to get the doctors to do them ( shock horror )
I don't have any plans today but have tidied up a bit and hung some washing out. I took B for a very slow walk and I'm pooped now so going to chill out for a bit.
It was payday yesterday so I need to log into my bank to see how much I was paid for April and the window cleaner came this morning so I can pay him before I forget. I also need to transfer some money into my savings pot.
The weather is weird here today, the back garden looks sunny and warm and the front looks like it's going to snow, it's not as cold as yesterday but it's not as warm as I would like it to be either. It's good weather for drying the washing though 😊

I do hope the anti-bios kick in soon, OBL, you've been poorly for quite long enough.
