Oh no, sorry to hear you are poorly again, @Onebrokelady. You really do deserve a break where your health is concerned. Feel better soon,

2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
    2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!

I hope things are better tomorrow, OBL. A colleague had a chest infection requiring antibiotics then got Covid while still recovering. There are definitely some other horrible bugs about and in your job you must meet quite a few of them.
The ward is full of bugs at the moment 😟

Thanks, I'm completely cheesed off, it's seems that every time I have a day off and plan to do something I'm ill and can't do it, I've got things I'm supposed to be doing that are just being held up all the time

I managed to get quite a bit of sleep last night but woke up this morning with painful throat ,no voice and a very persistent cough, thankfully the headache and achey body had gone so it's more like a laryngitis type thing. It's quite painful to swallow at the moment. I'm finding it best to breath in slowly through my nose otherwise I start coughing.

I woke up to a disaster of a house though so had to clean and tidy the kitchen today, DD2 was also not feeling too good so we basically made ourselves a sandwich each for our tea and then just abandoned every thing to go to bed last night. I have pottered around and got things done while also taking plenty of breaks in between. It was also very windy today so I got two lots of washing out on the line as I didn't want to waste the weather

Im off to bed shortly because I'm working tomorrow 😟 I'm n a late so don't need to be there until 12 so at least I don't have to get up early. I then have three days off which I'm looking forward to. We were planning on going for a walk on Sunday but I will have to wait and see how I feel, hopefully I will be better by then 🤞🤞🤞
