It's quite painful to swallow at the moment. I'm finding it best to breath in slowly through my nose otherwise I start coughing.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Woke up feeling the same this morning but did make it into work. I was annoyed when I got there though because I could have done an early instead of a late. I got all my jobs done by lunch time and then spent a couple of hours doing some e-learning that is due to expire soon. It was very quiet today so a good time to get it done.
I started to feel worse at around 5.30 so asked if I could leave early. I came home and have just chilled out on the sofa for the rest of the day. I'm going to see how I am on Monday and if I still feel like this I will phone my gp
I now have three days off so hopefully will recover before I have to go back on Wednesday
DD2 is also not feeling great so we won't be going for our walk tomorrow 😫 I'm hoping to be able to do something next weekend now
Tomorrow I don't have any plans apart from doing some washing, walking B and sorting the chickens. They are still locked up at the moment because of bird flu outbreaks and I heard last week that the farm where I bought my current hens had an outbreak so had to cull all their stock. They are just down the road from me so a bit close for comfort and it's so sad to hear they had to cull all their birds 😢 it's never got this close before and never lasted this far into the year either.

That’s sad they had to cull the chickens. Hope you feel better by Wednesday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

It's awful about the avian flu: I hope yours stay clear. It puts me in mind of the Foot and Mouth outbreak back in about 2000, which was horrendous.
I hope you and your DD feel better soon, too. I know you were looking forward to your walk, but if your weather is as chilly as ours, you may be better postponing it. It seems to be staying daffodil weather a bit longer than I expected, so the daffodils and cherry blossom are out at the same time this year!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. Hope your chickens stay clear. It’s very scary to have it so close.Hope you feel better soon. A GP call sounds a god idea. Have you already reduced your hours or are you still considering it….sorry, couldn’t remember what the outcome was.January spends - £587.581

I've just phoned work to say I won't be in tomorrow 😟 my chest and throat doesn't feel good at all today. I felt slightly better yesterday but after going food shopping and sorting the house I felt awful in the evening. I phoned my gp but all the emergency appointments had gone so I have to phone again tomorrow at 8.30 and hope there are some then, why they can't just book me in for an emergency appointment while I was on the phone today I don't know 🤷♀️😡
Its a lovely sunny day here but there is a cold wind so Im sitting indoors feeling very frustrated that I can't be getting on with things. The garden desperately needs tidying and I have decorating to finish so it's annoying to say the leastOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1200 -
