Definitely feels like flu but also the same as when I had Covid before minus the constant cough.Willowtree222 said:Sorry you’re not so good again. Well I'm not sure to be honest ,LFT was positive on Friday but my PCR was negative ,I did another LFT today and it was positive 😟 they think my viral load isn't high enough to show up on a PCR but it's definitely high enough to make me feel awful, I'm not sure if it isn't flu though 🤷♀️Sun_Addict said:Oh no not Covid again! Any sign of the PCR yet? It sounds as though you could do with a few more days before you go back to work, though.Onebrokelady said:It was posted on Saturday afternoon so I'm hoping it will come back today 🤞I have to have two negative LFTs to go back to work but I'm thinking a negative PCR would be just as good🤷♀️ I am still headachy and fluey today and the sore throat that I thought had gone yesterday seems to be back today
I have just read a Stuart Turton book called The Devil And The Deep Water which was really good, he wrote The Seven Deaths Of Evelyn Hardcastle which was also very good and yesterday DD1 gave me me a book by Jenny Colgan ( chick lit ) I can't remember its name but it was very lighthearted and just what I needed but I read that yesterday. I'm now about to start on Luckenbooth by Jenny Fagin it sounds really good The symptoms sound very unpleasant, I hope you're near the end of them. I've not read the Stuart Turton book or Luckenbooth, but I've got a few Jenny Colgans. I liked some more than others, my favourites being the Cupcake Cafe ones. I am often amazed, however, at how any work of fiction featuring a small retail outlet (generally but not exclusively in the south west) seems to sell like, er, hot cakes. The other rule for chicklit seems to be to have a character with red hair. I liked some more than others, my favourites being the Cupcake Cafe ones. Hi everyone. I've been in bed for most of the day so asleep so now not tired but I do have a banging headache so I'm going to try and go back to sleep in a minute.

My PCR test was negative but as I'm on day 5 today and still ill I did another LFT which came back positive 🤷♀️ I phoned work for advice and have to do another PCR so I'm waiting for that to arrive in the post, hopefully it will arrive tomorrow and I can do the test and post it back straight away ,there is a priority post box down the road from my house and apparently I'm allowed to walk down and post it myself. I'm not sure if I will have the energy to walk down there but will see how I feel
I have not felt good at all today, I still have a banging headache and keep feeling hot or shivery, I think I've got flu but that doesn't explain the positive LFT. My sore throat had almost gone but my throat hurts now and I've had earache as well. It's all very weird. I'm sitting here now and I've got shivers going up and down my body but I'm warm
Oh well I'm sure it will go away at some point but in the meantime I can't go to work, I'm really annoyed because I've now lost Sunday's unsocial hours and I really needed them this month. I will just have to be very frugal nowOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942

I wonder if you have two things at once - Covid and flu or another virus? There's something unpleasant that's not Covid going around my work at present. Symptoms are similar but tests not showing up positive.
Hold on, it will be much better is a day or so.

Aww, that sounds awful, @Onebrokelady. I too am wondering if you have both covid & another lergy. Was talking to my sister yesterday & she said there's a horrendous fluey cold doing the rounds in London atm & as there's still a lot of covid around, some people are getting both together. Hope you start to feel better soon.

That sounds like what I had a few weeks ago. I was positive on a lft. Had earache, headaches, constantly tired, shivering but hot, it was weird.
Hope you feel better soon xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Oh really that's interesting.I had proper flu when I was 13 and this feels like that but also the same symptoms as covid. It's definitely wiped me out that's for sure 😟foxgloves said:Aww, that sounds awful, @Onebrokelady. I too am wondering if you have both covid & another lergy. That's how I felt last week as though I had a dose of flu with a head cold thrown in for good measure . I have tested negative so that's two days so I am out tomorrow. Take care OBL , with your other health issues I can guess it's knocked you off your feet.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1
