Sorry to hear you and your mum and dad are all positive. Our PCRs are coming back within a couple of days but I imagine you'll have to be off till you've had two negatives a day apart, won't you? I'm not sure how the rules apply at your work: we've been told the general guidance is not applicable to us in the care sector so we have stricter rules to follow but I think the two negatives still apply.
What a shame you've missed the sunny weekend. I hope there's a small silver lining in that you've been able to rets your leg, it sounds very painful.
Are you still headachey/fluey?
Not sure what you're reading at the moment (I've got hold of an old school story which I'm enjoying!) but two books sounds like time well spent.
Sending get-well hugs xx
I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Thanks Foxgloves, I do have a lovely woolly snuggly blanket that my DD1 knitted for me and a massive pile of books 😊foxgloves said:Sorry to hear that Covid has struck again, @Onebrokelady. I am still testing positive on day 8 and still don't feel well. I am on my 4th book in a week and missed all the sunshine . My mum and dad have got it as well , though it's my dad looking after my mum.Hope you feel better soon and that DD stays negative. It was posted on Saturday afternoon so I'm hoping it will come back today 🤞I have to have two negative LFTs to go back to work but I'm thinking a negative PCR would be just as good🤷♀️ I am still headachy and fluey today and the sore throat that I thought had gone yesterday seems to be back todayCherryfudge said:Sorry to hear you and your mum and dad are all positive. I have just read a Stuart Turton book called The Devil And The Deep Water which was really good, he wrote The Seven Deaths Of Evelyn Hardcastle which was also very good and yesterday DD1 gave me me a book by Jenny Colgan ( chick lit ) I can't remember its name but it was very lighthearted and just what I needed but I read that yesterday. I'm now about to start on Luckenbooth by Jenny Fagin it sounds really goodOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -
