My journey to a debt free life

Hi Cherry,I have tried online magazines but I really don't like reading them in that format,I don't know why but it seems to hurt my eyes for some reason which is weird because I read loads of other things online 🤷♀️Cherryfudge said:I'm supposed to be getting to bed (early shift) but very quickly - your local library may include online access to digital forms of magazines in with your ticket. It's worth checking, though I like the idea of using YouTube.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -
We were supposed to go into town today so that DD can return a coat she has ordered but now we have to wait in for a delivery plus the rain is like a monsoon out there so we are not going anywhere. I took B out and it was horrible so we just went round the block quickly, I'm hoping it might calm down later so we can go up through the fields 🤞
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of my day but it will involve relaxing at some point. I'm just having a coffee before I go out to sort out the 🐓🐓then I might get really carried away and do some ironing 🙀🙀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -
It must be very hard for everyone living on such a tight budget. We don’t have a lot to spare but can make a few cutbacks if necessary. It’d be a totally different ball game had we not become debt free and I was on my own. Hats off to you 👏👏

Thanks Milann, I just wish I could still work full time as life would be very different now 😟milann said:It must be very hard for everyone living on such a tight budget. Just been and changed my signature after realising I hadn't done it yet and I'm now down into the £12,000 bracket 🎉🎉 . I have also altered the amounts in my savings after realising they still showed the pre Christmas totals 🙄
Ive been looking at budgeting and money saving things for most of the day in between getting jobs done and I am feeling very motivated to be even more frugal
I was supposed to be meeting my mum tomorrow but she doesn't feel up to it so has cancelled. I have to go into town anyway so I am going with DD instead.
I need to try to find some new ankle boots because mine have fallen apart and I'm getting soggy feet. I was trying to get them to last until summer but with all the rain we keep having I can't wait any longer. I'm hoping I can find a pair in the camping shop tomorrow because they have a 70% warehouse clearance sale going on. I have £40 of my Christmas money left so will be using that and will hopefully not have to add much towards the price 🤞🤞the ones that have fallen apart were under £40 but have only lasted me a year when my boots normally last me much longer than that, interestingly I have a pair of suede ankle boots that I bought as an emergency purchase when I went to London for the weekend they were from Primani and are still going strong I think I paid £12 for them but sadly they aren't waterproof 😟 I do wear boots all the time in the autumn and winter months as I walk a lot,I need waterproof ones for walking B with all the rain we get so I hope I can find some cheapish ones tomorrowOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -

The best ankle boots I ever had were from Primani, they lasted ages and lots of people admired them. Sadly they no longer have that style. I need some waterproof trainers for walking to work in but haven’t come across any yet.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Happy boot hunting 👍 I wear ankle boots as long as I can - I find them so much more comfortable than shoes. I was lucky and found some hotter ones at half price just before Christmas 😁January spends - £587.581

The ones I got are just little suede ones and they are so comfortable. I went into Primani last week and they had a pair in the sale for £7 that would have done me but they were too small 😟Sun_Addict said:The best ankle boots I ever had were from Primani, they lasted ages and lots of people admired them.
