Enjoy your week off work.
Its so good that you are at a stage where you are considering managing your debts yourself. It made such a difference to me when I ticked them off.My friend with fibromyalgia gets pip because she couldn’t manage work any longer.January spends - £587.580 -

Take care now,

Glad your EF fund is getting back up.If you do take your debts back over, it would certainly give you control to over pay and pay things off. Researching it like you are will at least give you a balanced view. Either way, your debt is still being paid xOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201

I just don't understand how they assess people with Fibromyalgia for pip . It says it's for help with things like taking care of yourself and I can do all my own self care, even on days when I was first diagnosed and had to go up and down the stairs on my bum or hands and knees I could still do all my own self care. I can cook my own meals etc, in fact there's not much I cant do even though I am in a lot of pain all the time it doesn't stop me from doing basic care for myself. I get if you can't work you need the money but how do they assess that because the questions they seem to ask seem to be all about personal care. I do have days where I have to just go to bed if I've overdone it but I try to only do that as an extreme last resort. I'm wondering if I should get some advice from somewhere 🤷♀️Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1200 -
Finally I'm of work for a week 🎉🎉I worked a late yesterday and it was a good shift but I really struggled and was glad to get home . I did sleep really well last night though so that's good.
Today we went to the Swedish shop and I bought an eclectic bag of things which included
Coat Hooks for the front hallway so I need to finish painting that so I can put them up,these were a planned buy
Two small stainless steel Saucepans ( not on my list) I only have one small pan that the handle was hanging off of so it needed replacing, I usually use small pans because of there only being two of us so it saves water. I decided to get these as they were cheap but much better quality than any others I've looked at
A duvet set ( also not on my list) this was a naughty purchase because I've only bought it for when I redo my bedroom as the colour will go better than the ones I currently have. I have made myself use some of my Christmas money to pay for it though as it was a treat.
Drawer organisers which I had planned to buy and I'm glad I did because I came home and organised my underwear drawer straight away and I've been putting it off for months,I can now see what I've got and can find everything
Plant based meatballs, these were definitely a planned buy but were also the only food item I bought. I always buy my favourite little cakes when I go but I didn't buy any this time because they aren't good to have in the house due to my lack of willpower, I am now regretting this decision 😀
I'm also thinking of a change in my living room. At the moment my big radiator is behind one of my three seater settees and it's always been fine because there was another one under the window, this has now broke and won't be replaced due to it's awkward size and shape. I can't put that settee anywhere else so I am thinking of replacing it with two chairs which will sit either side of the radiator allowing more heat into the room. I will be putting a small coffee table in between them ( shopped from home because it's from DDs room) . I am planning on selling the settee to cover the cost of the chairs which are wooden ones from the Swedish shop 😊

Morning OBL
Hope you have a great week off. I love the big swedish store
I only have one radiator in the whole of my downstairs - i have a through lounge/diner and the stairs are off that room; my rad is behind the sofa so it is ineffective & I end up going to bed early with a hot water bottle ! If you can rearrange your furniture to get the heat I would definitely do that .

Must have been a ‘buy bedding’ sort of day yesterday. I ended up in Dunelm and bought a duvet cover with pillowcases, mattress topper and fitted sheet. Mine had gone very bobbly and my bottom sheet and old mattress topper were past it and kept wrinkling up under me. I slept the best I’ve slept in a long time last night 😁
Enjoy your time off work.

I used to be a terrible for impulse buys in the Swedish Emporium back in the Spendy Era, @Onebrokelady. I think part of the problem was that my old house on the edge of the city was only 5 miles away from said establishment & it was so easy to drive home from work that way & pop in. I like their duvet sets because they are usually pure cotton & you can buy them in a couple of different colourways, but to mix & match. Of course they are also my tea-light purveyor of choice, but apart from the occasional budgeted-for piece of furniture, I am a lot better behaved when I go there now........it's a drive to the other side of the county for starters, so tends to be more planned these days.

I’ve only ever been in the Swedish emporium once in my life. It took forever to get there when we had transport and now we don’t have a car it’s just too far away to get to.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
