Obviously I can't know the situation with the girl at your work and these things can have all sorts of causes but if she's with you it sounds as if she's in a time of transition and could be more unsettled than usual, so her behaviour is magnified. In that case you might need to take more care around shift change, and you might need to take extra care of what you talk about in her hearing... very difficult but you sound as though you have such a constructive attitude and insight into her that you are making the best of the situation. I hope whatever she goes on to that she meets with understanding people who can give her the support she needs.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -
Forgot to post earlier to say I investigated my council tax bill and the payment that came out was on my bill. I can't work out what they have done though, I was receiving the single persons allowance until DD2 finished uni in June,I then got a revised bill that started on July 1st and ended on February the 1st so I had April to June at £123.00 and July to February at £155.00 so I only get one month free this year, still seems odd to me 🤷♀️
I had a semi productive afternoon out in the front garden today, there were some cardboard boxes under the window that needed breaking down and putting in the recycling, I have been trying to get out there to sort them out, anyway it was really windy this afternoon and I was worried they would blow away so I wrapped up and got rid of them. It's made the front garden look a bit tidier. There is also a bike parked under the window which I'm going to put on my local neighbourhood group page on FB, it needs cleaning and possibly a new tyre but it's a good solid bike that someone might be able to make use of
Tonight I phoned DD1 for our weekly catch up. I suggested we start doing this last week because otherwise we don't speak to each other for weeks at a time, we agreed that more than once a week would be too much at the moment seeing as neither of us has anything to really talk about. My eldest grandson is now out nappies 🎉🎉and the youngest having noticed that the eldest was getting a sweet whenever he remembered to use the potty is also telling his mum when he needs to go 😂😂 they are both loving having their Mum at home ( she is now working from home ) they aren't going to DDs mother in law at the moment because she is vulnerable but they are still going to nursery so that's good. My son in law has been able to carry on working because he is outside all day, he did have a lot of time off because he badly injured his back and was just about ready to go back to work when they announced the lockdown so was a bit worried, but it's all worked out okOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -

That’s sad about the man who was missing. The stories behind the people are often heartbreaking.
Well done to your gs getting out of nappies. That’ll make life easier and cheaper for your dd.And well done with getting rid of the cardboard. We have done the same this week. Dh has been de cluttering the things going back into the newly decorated bedroom. He kept boxes from all sorts of phones and gadgets....many of them we no longer have. So we filled our paper bin this morning with boxes....and we could fill another 😳. The bin men have just been - it’s a small Avenue with 10 houses which slopes down. The van stayed at the top as it is so icy....so my bin is now at the top of the Ave....hopefully my neighbour will drag it down for me.

The chickens are really fed up at the moment because they are still not allowed out, I feel so sorry for them being cooped up. I took them an Apple a fat ball and some meal worms this morning to cheer them up😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -
So far today I've walked B and sorted the 🐓🐓. I've also done some washing and cleaned the kitchen. I decided to have a good look at my carpet cleaner today to see if I could fix it after seeing some useful info in the instruction book but it still won't work so I am now counting it as broken and not repairable, it's gone back in the cupboard until I can get rid of it . I'm not replacing it because I won't have any carpets downstairs soon anyway so it's not worth it to have my own, it's annoying as my carpets need cleaning and I can't do it now
I am going to do the ironing in a bit so that doesn't get out of hand again.
Its another very cold day here which started off sunny but is now turning very grey, there was quite a lot of frost and ice on my walk today too, DD1 told me that they have forecast snow for us tomorrow and Friday 🙀I'm hoping they have got it wrong like they usually do 😂😂Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -
That’s so sad about the young bloke. It was in our local news that two people were in a car that drove into the river a few days ago. They still haven’t recovered the car or bodies yet but apparently they know who they are. Just awful.
We’ve had snow but it hasn’t been anywhere near as bad as the forecasts were predicting. It never lasts long here if it does.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
milann said:I know what you mean about occupational hazard, that’s one of the reasons I left my old job. I ended up in casualty with broken ribs and another time with a bleed in my leg after being kicked at my old school which was a SEND school. The children we were getting were more violent and bigger and I was getting older.....not a good combination. And those children were only up to 11 years. I lost count of the number of times I’d filled the accident book in with scratches and bites 😳 there were lots of lovely times with lots of laughs though.....and the violence wasn’t usually personal- we just happened to get in the way of their frustrations 😏
