(As well as tasty).
I haven't been to Sutton Hoo but I went to the Yorvik dig while it was still a dig - I remember walking round some wooden structure looking down into the area where the archaeologists were working, and there was a basket of Viking oyster shells that you could help yourself to as they were finding so many. Mine is bound to be around somewhere! I've been again since, when the children were at such an age that their main impression was the smell when we went down into the reconstruction - and it really was smelly! Another time I was very nearby supporting a client and we sat down on a low wall to watch the world go by... including a Viking complete with a sword and a Marks and Spencer carrier bag!
I'd also recommend Jarrow Hall, which I went to when it was Bede's World.
Hopefully you will get to all three one of these days.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -

Sutton Hoo was somewhere on our journey home from Southwold.....not especially close. It broke the journey for us so we’d travelled a fair way before we got there. We hadn’t been to that area of England before so we did travel a fair bit. Ds and dh did the driving and I just sat and relaxed so wasn’t paying that much attention to the distances.I remember taking my 2 to Jorvik soon after it opened...it was the smell that was the main talking point and sticks in my memory too. I do go to York quite a bit in normal times - it’s about an hour and half from here, but only been in the museum once. Yes it’s quite funny seeming some characters walking through the streets in full Viking regalia sporting a mobile phone or carrier bag 😂😂
Glad you got better hours for the day in clinic 👍Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -

Today has been a truly lazy day at Cluckingham Palace. I am sooooooooo tired it's ridiculous. Last night I went to bed at 10 pm and didn't wake up until 11 am today and I'm still fighting to stay awake 😟
Yesterday at work was a pleasant day which went by quite quickly but I did struggle with tiredness all day , it was also NSD 3. I spent last night finishing a book I've been reading, I really could see how it would end and in the end it was quite ridiculous and far fetched so that was a waste of time
Today I haven't done much at all, I walked B this morning in the lovely sunshine then came home and lounged around before tidying the kitchen and sorting the 🐓🐓for the day. I have had an email from Pets At Home to say they are sending me another bag of corn which should be here on Tuesday, to stop the🐓🐓from rioting I gave them a fat ball and an apple to munch on, the new drinker is saving me time and effort because I haven't had to refill it yet instead of refilling their dish everyday 🎉🎉
Tomorrow Im working a long day so I just need to make sure I set my alarm to the right time this week. After tomorrow's shift I am on holiday for a week which I'm really looking forward to. I am hoping I will have the energy to start doing some of the jobs in the house that I can do, I will wait and see how I'm feeling
I'm not sure if today is going to be a NSD because we might be ordering a pizza for tea 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
You must’ve needed that sleep 💤 Good news about the replacement feed, quite right too. I think a takeaway is well deserved 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Cor blimey it's Baltic out there today 🥶🥶🥶🥶 I'm so glad I've got this week off so I can stay inside if I want to. I've just been shopping and have enough supplies for a few days so will only need to take B out for her walk and sort the 🐓🐓. I will need eggs at some point because the 🐓🐓have stopped laying again and I forgot to buy some this morning 🙄
Yesterday at work was interesting but a good shift apart from being kicked in the side of the face by an agitated 16 year old, luckily it was just a glancing blow 🙀🙀 I was worried it would set off the TN but so far touch wood I seem to have got away with it
I seem to have woken up with a bit more energy today so that's a good sign. I'm trying to use this week to get myself into a routine of getting up at a set time. It's not particularly early (9.30 am) by most people's standards but that's early for me on a non work day. I took my Calms Night Time last night and slept really well, my problem is restless sleep so although I could be in bed for a good 9 hours most of that is spent tossing and turning trying to get to sleep until I have a week where all I want to do is sleep, I'm hoping to regulate it a bit more and have better quality too, we will see how it works out
When I got home last night my replacement bag of corn had been delivered and it had a flaming hole in it again 🙀🙀 luckily it had been placed inside a plastic sack so I don't think I've lost any this time. I think I will give up ordering it online and stick to my local pet shop from now on, it's just really heavy to carry home. Bs dog food also arrived today which was lucky because she ran out yesterday and had to have cat food for her tea 😀
