I'm also very interested in Vikings and would love to visit the Jorvik Viking Centre in York .
The tart looks very tasty, OBL. I think the pastry should be okay so long as it was kept in the fridge, and all the veg are bound to be good for you. (As well as tasty).

I haven't been to Sutton Hoo but I went to the Yorvik dig while it was still a dig - I remember walking round some wooden structure looking down into the area where the archaeologists were working, and there was a basket of Viking oyster shells that you could help yourself to as they were finding so many. Mine is bound to be around somewhere! I've been again since, when the children were at such an age that their main impression was the smell when we went down into the reconstruction - and it really was smelly! Another time I was very nearby supporting a client and we sat down on a low wall to watch the world go by... including a Viking complete with a sword and a Marks and Spencer carrier bag!

I'd also recommend Jarrow Hall, which I went to when it was Bede's World.

Hopefully you will get to all three one of these days. :)
Wow,I would have loved this 😊 loving the image of the Viking with his M&S bag 😀

Sutton Hoo was somewhere on our journey home from Southwold.....not especially close. It broke the journey for us so we’d travelled a fair way before we got there. We hadn’t been to that area of England before so we did travel  a fair bit. Ds and dh did the driving and I just sat and relaxed so wasn’t paying that much attention to the distances.
I remember taking my 2 to Jorvik soon after it opened...it was the smell that was the main talking point and sticks in my memory too. I do go to York quite a bit in normal times - it’s about an hour and half from here, but only been in the museum once. Yes it’s quite funny seeming some characters walking through the streets in full Viking regalia sporting a mobile phone or carrier bag 😂😂
Glad you got better hours for the day in clinic 👍
I've been to York once in my life on a school trip and it was before 1975 so not for a very long time, I remember loving the place though

I went to the Jorvik museum experience years ago when I was a student and it was really interesting, especially the smells as some have said. I may have been to Sutton Hoo as a child but would love to go again. I hope you get to go one day OBL.

What a pain about your feed being mostly missing, I hate bad service like that 😡.

I will one day hopefully 😊. I have had an email from Pets At Home to say they are sending another bag of corn, lets hope this gets here in once piece 🙄.

You must’ve needed that sleep 💤 Good news about the replacement feed, quite right too. I think a takeaway is well deserved 👍
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
