We aren't allowed to speak about hospital business to the papers or on social media, we risk disciplinary action if we do anything that makes the NHS look bad 😟this is why it's such a big thing if someone whistle blows, you have be really sure your right and  that you can take the possible fall out 🙁

A letter to the Trust CEO might help though I doubt it. Staff must have decent facilities for their breaks and for a manager to waste their time in that fashion is also appalling.
He treated them really badly too in front of other staff, they had stood up to leave and he made them sit down and hold each end of the tape measure so they could see they weren't 2 metres apart. The trust  placed the seats in that position so of course people are going to sit in them, the seats were also cover3c in bird poo so DD had to take her coat off to sit on so she did t get it on her uniform, she ended up sat outside in her scrubs 😡
When I go back to work I'm going to find out who we speak to about staff welfare

  • How did you get on with the decorations, did you manage to put any up? I've put most of mine up now.

I'm still as disgusted as you about daughter. Not decent facilities for those front line workers. Absolutely awful.
Has she had a better week? Being shouted at is not nice at all. I hope she's ok.
    Enjoy your weekend OBL x

Are either/both of you in a union. I have a feeling that suitable space for breaks may be a legal requirement but I could be wrong on that.

Is the union prepared to argue for full pension with ill health retirement.
  • Hope you enjoyed your macaroni cheese. My absolute favourite.

Hope the decorations perk you up. At this rate it feels as if I’ll be putting fairy lights around the builders work bench and ladders. All being well though I’m hoping to put mine up mid December 🎄

She is but I'm not at the moment, I will look into that though, I didn't even think of asking the Union, I'm not sure if there is a legal requirement but it won't hurt to find out. Technically there are enough spaces but not while we are having to keep 2 metres apart, we sit in all sorts of places to have breaks like offices, consulting rooms etc
