Oh dear OBL.  I am so sorry to hear you and your DD2 have succombed to the virus.  Rest lots and at least you have a friend who can drop you shopping off.  There are a few clusters even down here in the West Country so no one is immune to it.  Glad your DD1 is being a bit more supportive now and understanding that you are really ill.  

I read on my local community group that there were 6 cases in my immediate area last week, we are a uni city as well so have had a recent population explosion, mind you most of our poor students have been locked up since they got here and when I've been out and about I can't say I have actually seen that many around, my most likely point of infection is work and really I've probably been lucky not to get it before now. DD said it's a bit galling though because neither of us really go anywhere apart from food shopping and work,she hasn't been out socially for weeks but all her colleagues are out every weekend at the pub and yet she's the one who catches it 🙄

I'm trying to put together a shopping list but can't think what I want, I have enough things in the freezer to cook 12 meals but don't fancy any of it because I can't taste anything, thinking about food is making me feel sick, so far I have bread and that's it 😟

Maybe some fresh fruit on your list? Easy bits like biscuits, cereal bars, nuts, dried fruit and crisps? That sort of thing? Bits you can graze on alongside easy to cook things like soup etc. The time any kind of food budget goes out of the window understandably.

Oh no I’m sorry to hear you are both so poorly. Like you say sleep is the best cure. Rest as much as you can and eat little and often as and when you feel like it. Lots of drinks too.
Sending lots of healing vibes to you both.
im pleased your other daughter has offered to shop for you - even if you don’t take her up on it.

I hope you both feel better very soon. This seems to be an odd virus in the range and severity of symptoms.
