Take it as easy as you can when you get back to work. Remember to look after yourself as well as everyone else.
Enjoy your trip to town tomorrow.January spends - £587.584 -
Echoing what Milann says to take it steady when you go back to work. Have a good trip to town tomorrow, treat yourself to a nice coffee (or tea) xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I phoned work to tell them I would be back and the sister in charge told me she has to contact the absence hub to make sure I'm allowed back because I still have a cough. They will phone me tomorrow and let me know, they might expect me to do another test but I hope not, I will just have to wait and see what they sayOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945

Oops pressed the comment button too soon. When DD1 dropped off DGS yesterday she mentioned that she needed a desk for working from home and that the trust she works for are refusing to pay for one, they told her to take one from her old office but it's too big for her space, she was going to buy one so I offered her my craft desk.Ive been meaning to get rid of it for a while but lockdown happened and I was stuck with it. I want to use the space where it is to put the toy kitchen I bought for the DGS to play with and some storage for toys so I don't have to keep lugging it all up and down the stairs.Anyway she measured the desk and it will be the perfect size so she is coming to pick it up on Monday😀 I'm so glad I found a home for it and saved her money on buying a desk. I have another one I can use as a craft desk ( it's actually a dressing table ) in my bedroom,I'm still in the middle of painting it so I will keep that in my room and then when the DGS are older and I don't have toys for them it can come downstairs and replace the one I'm getting rid of, or I might turn my spare box room into a craft room when DD2 moves out as the DGS can always sleep in her old room if they stay over
Tomorrow I'm buying two plastic storage boxes to put my craft stuff in, all the sewing supplies will go in my room under the bed for now and my furniture painting things that I use mainly on the dolls house can go in the cupboard under the stairs. I'm looking forward to getting it all sorted out and put away and the desk gone because we keep using it as a dumping ground and it looks messy. All my craft bits will be put away but easy to get hold of and kept dust freeOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
Congrats to your DD! That's excellent news.
Lovely that you are feeling better too.

Good work on the desk, OBL. It's always a good feeling to re-home or re-purpose things, rather than send them to landfill.

Great news about the desk
I'm so sorry DD didn't get a graduation ceremony though.
Hopefully work will let you back in and you get some normality xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I love sorting my craft things - I haven’t done any crafting for ages - need to do something about that.I half hope work tell you to stay off until your cough has gone - you don’t want to catch anything else on top of what you have.....especially with the increased numbers out there.January spends - £587.583

Work have just got back to me and have said I can go in tomorrow, I need to get back because I'm low on unsocial hours this month now I've been off for so long. We aren't too bad down here at the moment so I'm not too worried 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
