My journey to a debt free life

Another bright sunny day today and even though I'm still a bit breathless I actually feel a bit more human today,I've got an appointment on the phone with a GP tomorrow which Im going to keep because I now have a pain in my ribs round to the back under my shoulder blade, it's not severe but last time I had this I left it and ended up with pleurisy🙀 I'm not going down that road again
I was up early because its my day to look after DGS 2, he was up all night so wasn't in the best of moods when he arrived, he's not very well and still has a cold so I've dosed him up with calpol and he's gone to sleep now, for some reason DD1 doesn't give them calpol as she always thinks they aren't ill enough, it's a shame because she might have got a good nights sleep if she had given him some, he has a cold and is teething so probably feels rotten 😟
I'm just having a coffee and catching up on here before he wakes up. I stripped my bed yesterday so that's all on the line and I've got another lot in the machine, I don't have anything else to do house wise so can concentrate on DGS
I finally made my leek croustade yesterday so don't have to cook for myself I just haven't make some food for DGSs tea later

Pleased to hear you're feeling more human today apart from the pain in your ribs, hopefully not pleurisy again. When you don't feel well you forget what it's like to feel normal. The weather is lovely here too, also got lots of washing on the line. Hope you enjoy your day with DGS and he feels a bit better soon.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Phew nanny daycare is now closed until next week. We had a nice day at home pootling about playing with the toys 😊
I got an email from Bs insurance company to say my vets have put a claim in for £1,800 for her final bill, this includes the bits I had already paid for, sadly I didn't notice when I took the policy out that it only covers her for £1000 per condition per year with a £99 excess fee and the 20% co payment so I'm going to be stung for a sizeable bill anyway. I don't suppose they base what they pay out on what's left after I pay the excess and co payment 😟Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8946 -

When I was renewing my dog’s insurance I found it quite confusing what was and wasn’t covered. Boo to having to pay a sizeable amount out 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
