Just caught up with your diary and sorry to hear you're feeling unwell, glad it's not what you thought it might be though. Hopefully you'll start to feel better soon. Make sure you get some rest. So pleased to read the cat is settling in nicely.

You'll soon start picking up, OBL. You can always make a list of all these projects you are wanting to start, then you can review it when you're properly better. There's no point wearing yourself out trying them before you are fully recovered though. All of us on here expect to hear that you are being very sensible & looking after yourself.

I'm consoling myself with plotting 😊I actually have no choice but to be sensible at the moment because I feel too ill to do anything, just washing some dishes finished me off earlier 🙁

Hi SA ,good to see you back,I hope you had a nice holiday 😊I am relieved it wasn't the lurgy but whatever this is it's nasty, I really don't think my chest would cope with covid and hope I never catch it judging by the state of my chest now 🙁
Its going well with the cat,he is such a character and is showing his playful side at the moment 😍

I've had a very quiet day again today,I woke up coughing at 7.20 so got up and made a cup of tea to take back to bed. I was really tired though so went back to sleep and didn't wake up until 1pm 🙀🙀 I actually feel worse today and the cough has been relentless all day, I only have to take one anti biotic a day so took that early,  the one I'm on can't be taken within two hours of any reflux meds and you are not allowed to take any iron, zinc or magnesium tablets at all while you are taking it. I'm on a daily reflux tablet so I took the anti biotic when I woke up the first time then the reflux tablet when I woke up the second time, you also aren't allowed to take it with any dairy food or drink,  luckily have soya milk so got away with my cup of tea
I've spent the day on the sofa reading Seasidegal58s diary from the beginning and it's been very entertaining so far. I also downloaded another book onto my kindle, it's called  The Perfect Life and so far it's not too bad apart from I don't like the main character, she is very snobby and spoilt 😂
The cats are tolerating each other a bit more, I've been letting them out onto the patio and so far they haven't managed to escape, they are both plotting an escape though 😀but I think the longer I can keep them contained to the patio the better. DD1 told me that A wouldn't eat treats because he is always suspicious that they contain medicine, however we have some beef dreamies in  the cupboard so I tried him with them and he wolfed them down. I'm going to stock up ready for when he is let out properly because they were always a good way to get them in when we first got them. I put them in a plastic pot and shake it at the door ,they would always come running 😊
Ive also done a bit more of my knitting so that's coming along nicely.
It's my normal day off tomorrow but I was supposed to be working on Monday, I phoned this afternoon to tell them I won't be in . I'm gutted because I missed Saturday and Monday is a bank holiday so that will impact my unsocial hours pay next month😟 I haven't been to work since last Sunday 🙀🙀. I will have now triggered another sickness monitoring period as well 😠
Right Im off to bed now and will hopefully stop coughing long enough to get some sleep
