Onebrokelady said:Currently on house arrest due to developing a nasty cough. I was supposed to work yesterday but phoned work for advice because I had an awful cough and had practically lost my voice so my matron told me not to come in and she would refer me to the covid absence hub for advice, I told her I didn't have any other symptoms apart from a headache but I couldn't stop coughing so couldn't go in. I'm now waiting for a test which I've just found out is being done tomorrow, I had to contact DD 2 at work to tell her to speak to her boss because she also has to self isolate 🙄so she was sent home, we can't go out at all not even to walk B so I'm just letting her out in the garden. It's so annoying because I'm quite certain I just have a chest infection, I've also got three days off and had nice things planned which I've had to cancel 😟
In other news I've just spent the last few days reading my whole diary. I was inspired to read it after getting a message from someone who said they found it inspiring, I don't understand this so thought I would have a read, this is what I have taken away from the experience
1= I'm always either getting a cold or getting over a cold
2= I spend all my time doing housework and not much else
3= I've had lots of really good ideas over the last two years but I've hardly implemented any of them
4= I keep saying I'm going to do the same old things over and over but still haven't done them
5= I still haven't finished decorating the flaming bathroom but I've decided to decorate the rest of the house as well
6= I chose Finish as my word of the year this year and so far I'm not sure I've finished anything 😂😂
This summary made me laugh 😂 I also use my diary as a place to vent so it looks like I am grumpy all the time!Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2 -

I gave up in the end (a written one) as all I was doing was venting things I couldn’t say out loud! It was a book full of violent complaints and grumbles 😂. The only positive thing was listing all the books I read and finding out how many I read in a year (64), which I hope to beat this year!Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2

Yes Im going to be having my youngest grandson on a Thursday starting in September, my eldest get his free nursery hours from September so will be going to nursery then. I have made a booboo though and booked B in for a vets appointment on the 3rd of September so I need to Speak to DD1 about that 🤷♀️
DD 2 is enjoying her job but also finding it a bit stressful, she has a lot of patients requiring palliative care and finds this aspect upsetting 🙁 she was happy to receive her first full pay today though 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -

Sorry, I missed the long post.
Oh no about house arrest and the cough. Our results came back by 7am the next morning. We had the test at 3pm the day before so really quick turn around.
I sometimes read my diary and I have reoccuring themes as well as what I plan to do to help save and that never happens either!

Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x1 -
Well ive had my test done so hopefully will know by tomorrow if I'm in the clear. It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be but did make my eyes water a bit.
Its also payday today so I've done my budget for the month, DD has paid me my rent already so that's gone in my savings, I checked my account last night before I got paid and managed to squirrel away £50 that was left in the bank so I now have the grand total of £650 in my house fund 🎉🎉 a couple more months and I will be able to get my floors done 😀
I was also going to let the cats out today but it's been foul weather all day ,we had a thunder storm earlier and torrential rain, the suns out now though but they are both fast asleep ( voluntarily in the same room 😊)
Me and DD2 are both craving chocolate or cake, I don't have any chocolate but I made a coffee cake instead,I'm just waiting for it to cool so I can put some butter icing in it, for some reason I am also craving pancakes 🤷♀️
I'm really hoping my test is negative because we have run out of some fresh food and I forgot to order washing up liquid in the online shop so we need that too. I think I've got enough to last a couple of days, I also need to buy some more cough medicine because I'm nearly outOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942
